Suicide Squad
The Suicide Squad has a new member out there now with the Joker out there in Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League
The next Elseworld is here for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League and that means that The Joker is out there in the world now. All as a playable character in the game as we all try to get all the way through the story that Rocksteady started for us but left on a bit of a cliffhanger. That is what the DLC is for and now we have more of that fun Suicide Squad banter and gameplay on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC. As long as you already owned the base game and were looking to see the future seasons flow on out there. With no more gilding the lily, let us have a look at this version of the character and how he came to be in the situation we are all in.
Do not expect to see any new gameplay here for The Joker and what he will bring into Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. We had that all before. What we have to look at as he saunters on in is a bit of the how and why we have The Joker in a world where he is already dead. That and has a vastly different voice. As it all looks, this version of the character had already taken over his world out there, and then Brainiac showed up. Showed up and took The Joker for his own prize. That, obviously, did not sit well so the character is now on the loose and joining up with our Suicide Squad to help kill one more of the many Brainiacs out there. Thus turning this into a "Kills The Brainiac" game instead now. At least we have some cool new gear to come along with it all.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League — Meet The Joker
Warner Bros. Games and DC launched Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Season 1, a free DLC update available for all game owners on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Season 1 features The Joker, who becomes a new Task Force X recruit after Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark rescue him from his own Brainiac invaded Elseworld. This alternate version of the iconic DC Super-Villain joins the Squad as a playable character with his own brand of mayhem and madness, as seen in a new in-game video that provides a closer look at this Elseworld twist on the Clown Prince of Crime.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Season 1 includes new Incursions and Strongholds, missions and activities, cosmetics, Justice League-infused variant boss fights, and more. Throughout the Season’s two episodes, players will be introduced to new gear inspired by DC Super-Villains Scarecrow and Two-Face and new weapons based on Mad Hatter, Merlyn, Dr. Psycho, Reverse-Flash, and Black Manta.
Given that this is one of the many Free updates we are going to have for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, it is going to be worth a little bit of playtime here. I am not a huge fan of the voice we have for the character and a few other things, but the price is right. It is also the only way we are going to get to see how the whole story plays out, so there is that too. Unless he gets just as annoying as it looks in the video here and it will only be worth playing this part of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League on mute until some of the bigger scenes start playing out. That is just my thought, though, and things might be different for so many others out there.
Are you glad to finally get to see how The Joker is going to play with the Suicide Squad or will you wait until after many of the "Seasons" of content drop before picking it up again? Does this version of the voice bother you too or is that just me being used to the main voice for so long? How do you think all of this will end and The Joker will keep working with the Squad moving forward from this story? Head to the comments to let us all know your thoughts on this and everything else that you wish to share. There should be more for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League in the near future, so please keep on coming back to see and hear about all of that as it flows out there still.
