Children Of The Sun
The release date for Children Of The Sun is set and April is when we will take aim with Children Of The Sun
Get ready to take aim in Children Of The Sun as it is now set to release on April 9th, 2024, on the PC. The release date and a bit of an announcement are out there for those looking to experience a new sniper and puzzle game. A game that Devolver Digital is helping to bring to light and make us all into better tacticians in the world. As long as the gameplay for Children Of The Sun sticks as close to real-world physics it looks like will be in the mix. Enough of all of that, let us see what is coming with the game when it does launch out there for us all. I am sure there are going to be many who are overly excited about this one.
If you are just learning about Children Of The Sun, this is a new tactical third-person title that adds in all of the puzzle shooting we have seen in a few other games. That is the part of the gameplay loop where we need to shoot various enemies, in this instance cultists, in a certain order to shoot with such precision that we can re-aim the bullet on impact and hit other parts of the map to obscure or trigger other traps. All so our protagonist can enact some righteous vengeance on those who wronged her and her family in Children Of The Sun. Have a look at the very stylized gameplay just a little lower and see what is going on in the game and why you will want to give it all of the time your days have to offer up.
Children Of The Sun — Release Date
A sniper x puzzle game by Rene Rother.
On a deadly road trip into darkness, control the path of a single bullet and unleash a fury of vengeance on the sinister cult that ruined your life in this tactical puzzle-shooter.
Burning with anger, THE GIRL wages a one-woman war against THE CULT, taking them down cultist by cultist, bullet by bullet, until she reaches her true target: THE LEADER. Along the way, she will unravel the dark truth about this mysterious order and the atrocities committed by them in the name of their master.
With just one bullet—which can be re-aimed on impact, smashed through armor, and guided around obstacles—you have to take out large groups of cultists in a single rapid burst of violence. Style, efficiency, and speed.
In this tactical third-person puzzle-shooter, you assume control of one bullet, guiding it through increasingly complex and challenging levels to kill cultists, trigger traps, and reshape the environment. Every shot counts and ruthless precision is rewarded. Taking down THE CULT is deeply satisfying; doing it with style even more so.
In other games, this bit of gameplay was always the bane of my existence but the way Children Of The Sun seems to be handling it might be able to get rid of those usual concerns. By the use of the magic bullet(s) we do have, we can just have the one shot end all of the enemies and not need to figure out all of the minutiae of things to make sure we are not spotted. Even if it does feel like a sniper would be hard for the cultists to get to before they just packed up and left, but then we would not have much of a challenge in the game. Not like the challenge of trying to see through some of the colors used here to be able to fully experience what Children Of The Sun has to offer. Thankfully, we only have a little under a month until we can give it all a try.
Have you been looking forward to Children Of The Sun before now or is this the first you are hearing of this title? Will we be able to take everyone out in one shot on every map or will we still need to time things while re-aiming in a different direction? How harsh will the in-game colors be and is all of this only for the marketing for now? Take those thoughts and place them in the comment section below while getting ready to discuss. There is going to be more for Children Of The Sun before the launch, we hope, and when there is, we will share it with you. Please check back in for all of those updates and many more for all of the upcoming video games we have to enjoy.
