Alone In The Dark Ramps Up Our Intro Into The Madness That Is Coming

Alone In The Dark

A new behind-the-scenes video for Alone In The Dark is out to give us a taste of the two ways we will play Alone In The Dark

The voices and actors for Alone In The Dark are back one more time to take us all behind the scenes of the game and show us just how a different part of the sausage is made. In this instance, how the game will play a bit differently depending on which of the characters you choose to play as. Along with how Pieces Interactive has made sure that it is going to be a bigger change than just a few little bits of dialog. So, kick back and get ready to see how that will all function in Alone In The Dark before it lands on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on March 20th.

We all have seen David Harbor and Jody Comer bringing the characters in Alone In The Dark to life, and now we get to see just how their interactions will be different in the game. Some characters will be pieces of shit toward Jody for being a woman and others will be untrusting of David for being the way he is. This is a point in the past where humans were worse than they are now. Kind of… This will all lead to each having a vastly different experience in the story of Alone In The Dark and also keep us wanting to play it a few times to see how the madness will flow out there depending on which character we opt to go with.

Alone In The Dark — Into The Madness

Descend into the madness of Alone In The Dark as you meet the residents of Derceto Manor.

Alone In The Dark is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on March 20.

I do like that there are full character personality shifts for the NPCs in Alone In The Dark and not just the basic dialog swaps where the NPC just changes a few words. I do hope that we will see the same level of boon and bane for each of the characters based on all of that and not that one will be harder to play with than the other. Unless this is also a commentary on how living as a competent woman is still living on hard mode when compared to the dullard male NPCs out there. I mean, that is sadly the truth, but Alone In The Dark does not feel like the title that form of commentary will be handled well by a certain segment of the community.

Did you expect any less in Alone In The Dark and will this have you play the game at least twice now? Do you think that there will be some characters who do not trust David's character due to him being a brash man but are willing to trust Jody's character? Will the game have us on hard mode for playing as a competent woman or will we just learn to hate the bigots and misogynistic humans just a bit more out there? Let us all know and discuss all of that in the comment section below. We will offer up all that we can for Alone In The Dark as we get closer to the release date out there. Please keep on checking back for all of those updates and many more.
