Tales Of Kenzera
The reveal for Tales Of Kenzera: ZAU is on the way with a fun look at the Metroidvaina that Tales Of Kenzera will have
The heartfelt stories keep on flowing out there with the next title coming out of the EA Originals program with the reveal of Tales Of Kenzera: ZAU. This would be the title that Surgent Studios is working on to not only give us a fun Metroidvania game to experience but tell another heartfelt story with this single-player adventure. One that hits deeply with the main voice actor, Abubakar Salim, who is giving it his all in what we have for Tales Of Kenzera: ZAU. Let us see what the lore of all of this is and take a look at what is going to make so many players out there tearing up a bit when playing it all.
To start on a darker note, the story of Tales Of Kenzera: ZAU runs a little parallel with the sad events of the voice actor's grief and loss of his own father in the real world. This comes through in the game by the protagonist goes through the same thing and makes a deal with the God of Death to bring is Baba back from the dark realm. Doing so places us all on an action-filled platformer that dives deep into the myths of Bantu cultures and, most likely, brings us all some closure to this in the end. All while giving us some fun moves and abilities to use in the realms we are fighting through. I have a feeling these will all be something related to the movement through grief out there and less of the fantastical worlds we normally get in video games like Tales Of Kenzera.

Tales Of Kenzera: ZAU is a little hard to get excited about at first, but also feels like it is something that we can all come around on. This is one person's journey through real grief in the mix but all framed in a title that, if we did not know it, could be just a deep action title. The game looks like it will be just as fun as all of the others in the genre, but knowing Tales Of Kenzera: ZAU has a deeper history in the development feels off to me. This could be that I am not engrained in the culture it is all based around, so there will be some fun learning along the way there. I am still interested to see it all and just glad to see there is some closure out there for a loss that also might be able to help others along the way too.
Did you catch all of the extra darkness in Tales Of Kenzera: ZAU above or would you have missed that if it was not spelled out in the text? Will the story of the game dig deeper into the grieving process of the character or will it get missed for many that do not know the history of it all? Will you be curious to see how other cultures take on this process and try to grow from it or will you just dumb it all down to Metroidvania title and nothing more? Head into the comment section below to discuss it all and let the world know your thoughts. We will share more for Tales Of Kenzera: ZAU out there, so please keep on checking in for those updates and many more.
