Suicide Squad
See more of the Suicide Squad in action against the JLA in the upcoming Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League
The testing for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is still ongoing out there and the game is shaping up to hit that February 2nd release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Not many got in to do all of that testing to get an early look at what Rocksteady has for us all, but that is why they are dropping the new trailer out there on the world. A trailer that was showcased during The Game Awards this year to show off some of the extra flamboyance that the Suicide Squad will have as they head out to bring down the various heroes. Heroes who are also highlighted in the video so we can get a better feel of who is causing all of the turmoil in Metropolis.
While that game does make it sound like we are going to have to kill the full Justice League in the title, it does look as if the Suicide Squad is only going to have four of the main ones to face off with. That being Batman, Superman, The Flash, and Green Lantern. Each of those villains being tied to the members of Task Force X in one way or another. Given that we are mostly playing as mere mortals fighting against gods, we will have some help along the way with it all. At least Wonder Woman will be out there helping the Suicide Squad do what they need to do. Even if it does feel as if she will be trying to find a different way to go about it all instead of killing all of her friends.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League — No More Heroes
It’s up to the Suicide Squad to do what the heroes can’t — save the world.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is available February 2nd, 2024, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
I am still not jazzed on the idea that Green Lantern and Deadshot are "paired" off in this one but it does look as if we get a good look at the boss fight that we will get to have with the character. It looks like it is going to be one of those fights where we will need to keep in the air the whole time so we can attack the Lantern with all of the members of the Suicide Squad in the mix. Even if it does feel a little odd that he would keep the constructs up as he watches the members use them to climb and swing out of the way. Video games need to video game, though, so it will be a passable thing in Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. As long as they make it fun and intuitive to use all of the controls in the heat of battle.
How do you feel about the various members of the Suicide Squad having their JLA counterparts to face? Do you think that Wonder Woman will fall during the course of the story or will she be the guiding light and help we will need against these gods? Do you think that there will be many phases to the Green Lanter fight or will it be a Bullet-Hell kind of ordeal? Head into the comment section below to discuss all of that and everything else we have to share for the game. More for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will be on the way to us all soon, so please keep on checking in for all of those updates and many more.
