New In-Game Footage Has Slipping Out For Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater

Metal Gear Solid

Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater is showing off some of the in-game footage for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid 3 remake that is on the way

What a difference twenty years can make out there for a video game based on what we have now for Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater. The remake has a new look out there and it shows off just how far things have progressed since 2004 when the game was first released up until what we can expect from Konami in 2024. Yes, we have some new gameplay to take in to see just how running Metal Gear Solid 3 through the Unreal 5 engine with a whole lot of other tweaks can make the game look and feel completely new. More so when it does finally land on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC when all is said and done. Quite an exciting time we all live in here.

If you have not just jumped down to the video below already, what you are able to see here for Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater is a nice little montage of looks from various places and events in the game. All with the latest and greatest looks based on what the new technology can pump out there. Even if there is a weird focus on the animals a bit more than one would expect for a Metal Gear Solid game. It is what it is, but that does not detract from the new environments and other simulations going on to give the game a closer to photorealistic look than we have seen in any of the IP before now. Even as the footage leans away from showing Snake in any other action besides walking, climbing, or crawling out there. Have a look, if you have not already skipped on down to that already.

It is rather impressive to see where Metal Gear Solid has come so far. Even if it is still odd to not have the main brain behind it all still. That does not mean it might not be a great game, but it does have a bit of an uphill battle to win out with. The visuals are impressive, but if the game loses the spirit and lacks solid gameplay, it is going to be another to toss on the heap of garbage titles that have been pumped out to try to keep the Metal Gear Solid IP alive. This one should be a slam dunk if it sticks closer to the source when it comes to the core of things, but one could have said the same for other titles too. I will stay cautiously optimistic for this one but will also be the first to say "I told you so" if it only has the visuals going for it when the launch finally comes to us.

What are your thoughts on how the new Metal Gear Solid 3 looks here? Are you as impressed by the visuals and also questioning why there is so much of a focus on the animals in the mix instead of the gameplay? Do you think that they will improve on all of the other aspects of the game too or will they try to sell us a great-looking title with garbage for the gameplay loop? Head into the comments to discuss all of that and everything else going on for this one. We will share more for Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater as we get more. Please keep on checking things out on the site until that day comes once more.
