Robocop
There is more for Robocop to do in Robocop: Rogue City than we might have thought from everything before
There has been quite a bit of fun out there for Robocop: Rogue City as of late, and now it is time for a little more fun. Fun in the way that Teyon is setting things up for the thrills of a firefight and the fun of basic paperwork. Yes, there will be mundane police work in the mix of things for Robocop in the game. Things that do not seem to be fully needed to progress through the game, but will make things a bit easier if you do. Some of these have been shown in the demo that is out there on the PC but seems to be much larger in scale for when the game lands on November 2nd for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S too.
As I mentioned, making some of these other choices and options to go out as Robocop to just uphold the law will have some other features in the game. Things like placing parking tickets or manning the reports counter are options in the game that will gain us favor with the people or fellow officers. How that will fully play out in Robocop: Rogue City is still yet to be seen. Well, outside of it all adding to our overall scoring of how we handled each case out there. This will give us more upgrade points to further increase our abilities and skills in the game. A nifty little feature to add to the mix and explain why we need to keep doing certain things. Even if it would be smarter to just allow us to have it all out the gate to be the best cop possible.
Robocop: Rogue City — Choices Matter
Here’s a little sneak peek at the RPG side of Robocop: Rogue City!
RoboCop: Rogue City comes out on November 2, 2023, on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
Having played parts of the demo for Robocop: Rogue City, I was pleased to find that these were things we get to do in the mix of the game. Going through some of the firefight missions, it felt like evidence was just something of a collectible, but this gives it a little more weight. That and there was an entire side mission that had us dealing directly with the public for a short bit and only in a paperwork capacity. You know, the boring side of the work that needs to get done. It is all stuff that Robocop would have had to handle in the mix of the day-to-day and it is not only funny but appreciated that it is in here. I actually humanize the character just a bit more, which is part of the story they are also trying to tell.
Will you be helping Robocop with all of the mundane stuff out there or will you leave as much of it on the table as possible? Will there be some big reveal in the story that is based around us gaining favor with the citizens over the cops or will that matter in very little besides dialog? How many tickets are you going to place on various cop cars in the game just to do so? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all as you so wish to do. There will be more for Robocop: Rogue City coming soon, so please keep on checking back for those updates and many others as we head into the release date.
