Tekken 8 Brings On Feng Just In Time For The Closed Beta

Tekken

One more joins the roster for Tekken 8 just in time for the closed beta for Tekken 8 to get us all ready for the full launch

Well, it looks like the roster will just keep ballooning up for Tekken 8, as now we have one more to the fight. This time we have a look at Feng in the mix of things as we get ready for the next big announcement from Bandai Namco as well. That announcement is that we are going to be seeing a closed beta for Tekken 8 out there too. Something that will run from October 20th until close to the end of the month. I am guessing it will be on all of the various platforms the game is launching on, but sometimes this is hard to do on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, so it could just be for the PC gamers out there in general.

Feng is coming back to us all after making a debut in Tekken 5 and sticking close to the IP ever since. Feng is ready for yet another rematch and is bringing along the same kind of fight we have grown to expect from not only IP, but the character over the years. Just more of the ruthless and merciless fighting that the character is known for. All while mixing in with all of the other Tekken 8 fighters who are on the same page for all of that too. Something that is a little highlighted here in the announcement trailer for the character, but the claws and disregard for everything else in the fight speak volumes for it all. Have a look and see if this is the same Feng you remember for so long now.

Warriors, step back into the ring and unleash your fighting spirit 👊

Feng is ready for a rematch in Tekken 8 – just in time for the next Closed Beta Test, coming October 20, 2023!

I do feel like I need to comment on the clothes that this character is wearing in Tekken 8. While fitting for the character idea, it does feel a little too flowy for a fight, and it could be taken advantage of rather quickly. That does feel the way for so many of the characters in Tekken 8, but this one strikes me as more for some reason. Maybe since it feels like there is a lot more movement for Feng to allow for it to get snagged or caught on things. All so the opponent can get an opening. For a video game, it works and looks cool. For a normal fight they would be engaging in, humans would take advantage of that rather quickly if I do think so. Maybe I am just losing my faith in fair fights out there…

Will you be aiming to get in on the closed beta for Tekken 8 or will you wait until next year to get your hands on the game? Do you like that we are getting Feng back into it all again or did you want a new character to be introduced? Does any of the fighting gear make sense for these characters or will most of them just be good for video games and never a real fight? Head into the comment section to discuss all of this and everything else we have going on. More for Tekken 8 is on the way, so please keep on checking in for all of those updates and everything else we can muster up for you.
