Post Trauma

A small new look at Post Trauma is here from Gamescom this year to get us amped up for us to get Post Trauma this Spring

I hope you are ready to have more Post Trauma in your life, as that is just what we have to offer up to you right now. Fresh out of the opening night of Gamescom 2023, we have some new footage from Red Soul Games to get us further excited and terrified for what the game is going to offer us all. All of this is to get us ready for the launch of Post Trauma on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this coming Spring in 2024. There is still a bit of a wait, but that will come at us all faster than we think here. Let us get ready to dig into it all now to see how it will go.

The latest trailer that Raw Fury has offered up to us for Post Trauma is a little short, but it is sweet enough to show off some of the core mechanics and set pieces we are going to have to address in the game. Like the fact that this is blending in some of those classic fixed-camera angles in the game will give us some of the newer visuals and audio techniques to further frighten us all. Not to mention that a good portion of the creatures and haunts in Post Trauma look like they are an amalgamation of many other horror video games wrapped up into one. The right levels of creep as Roman moves about the world and tries to unravel what is going on in the mind.

Discover new gameplay footage of Post Trauma, coming Spring 2024.

Get your most unnerving look yet at this highly anticipated indie passion project inspired by genre-defining horror games of the past, blending classic gameplay mechanics and fixed camera angles with modern visuals and intense soundscapes, creeping to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S in Spring 2024.

Post Trauma follows Roman, a tormented middle-aged man who awakens alone in a strange and hostile place. To escape this nightmare and find a way home, he’ll need to solve challenging puzzles, explore his surroundings and survive the dangers that lurk around.

Venture through a chilling world brought to unnatural life and a strong cinematic feel with fixed camera perspectives, unsettling atmosphere and designs, and immersive audiovisual direction. Discover ways to kill or avoid the monsters lurking in the darkness, but beware: not every creature you encounter may be what it seems…

I do have to say that with each new update for Post Trauma, I see more of Silent Hill and Resident Evil in the mix with all of the creepiness of many modern horror films. I mean, I see a bit of The Ring in here while also getting to see a massive spider-like or tentacle-covered creature hunting us down in the mix too. Now, the better question comes about, does Post Trauma actually all take place in the character's mind or will it be another horror universe that we will find ourselves in? I guess we are just going to have to keep watching and wait to find out once we are offered up more for the game.

Have you been excited for Post Trauma up to now or did you need this new trailer to get you excited for it? Do you think it is using the best inspirations for the gameplay and setting or would you have rather seen a few other things mixed in? Will this be all in the character's head or will we be seeing a new universe created just for this game? Head into the comments, pun intended, and let us all know what you are thinking while discussing it all. There is more Post Trauma to come, so please keep on checking in for all of that and everything else that we can offer up for this title. I know I am excited.
