The next Disney adventure is on the way with more of the story here for the upcoming Disney Illusion Island
It is time for a little more of the story coming to us for Disney Illusion Island here today. A new bit of story that will have these characters we have grown to love over the years teaming up and trying to save a new island out there in the mix. Dlala Studios is doing a fun job of getting it all to feel like something we have yet to see before on the Switch, so we should give it a bit of its due time to see. As long as you want to have more of your Disney friends in your life on the Switch on July 28th here. There does look like there is a lot more story to it all than we might have thought of before.
In Disney Illusion Island, we will get to see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald all teaming up to save a new island by the name of Monoth. All as we group up in a four-player co-op game that will have us jumping, swinging, and performing all manner of other feats in the game to solve the problems that they have come across. Why it is up to these specific Disney characters, I am sure we will learn during the game, but it is and now we have a little bit more of a taste of that just before it launches. Even if it feels as if this is something that should be hitting all of the platforms out there instead of just the one. Maybe down the line.
Disney Illusion Island — Story
Join Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy as they embark on a journey to save the island of Monoth. Unlock special abilities as you perform high-flying platforming feats, solve fun puzzles, and take on epic boss battles! Jump, swing, swim, and glide through the island to unveil the mysteries of Disney Illusion Island!
Were you hoping to see other Disney characters in the mix here or is that better left for other games out there? Will the story of all of this shift from being the lone saviors or will that be the narrative that they keep pushing forward out there? Would this all be solved in an easier way for the story but it is left this way to make sure the gameplay makes sense in the game? Tell us your thoughts about all of this down in the comments and then feel free to offer up more to the discussion out there. We will share what we can for Disney Illusion Island before launch, so please keep on coming back to see and hear all of that.
