Fort Solis
We have a release date for Fort Solis and it looks like we can start heading out there to solve all Fort Solis has to offer
The mysteries are starting to unfold for Fort Solis, as we all now have a release date for when the game is going to hit the PS5 and PC. A date that was shrouded in mystery itself by Fallen Leaf Games and Dear Villagers as just being Summer of 2023. Thankfully, after all of the waiting and bits of gameplay we have been given, we now know that Fort Solis will be dropping on August 22nd of this year. Still solidly right in the Summer sweet spot. Even if it is near the time when most video game players need to start looking at going back to school. I guess it is a good thing that this is being listed as a short experience and not one that can sink hundreds of hours into.
There has been no hiding the fact that Fort Solis was going to be a short and intense experience for us all, so do not think that after those last words. Let us all focus more on the intense side of things, as that is what this new trailer for the game is giving us all. In fact, this is new gameplay for Fort Solis even if some of it looks like it is from past videos. I had to double-check, and it is all from similar areas in the game and not specific scenes. The team just likes to bathe us all in red light it seems. We are going to be going through some emergencies in the mix, so this all makes perfect sense. This should make the mystery of it all a little harder to solve but only if we get distracted by the unknown and flashing lights. I know some of you out there will go through that. So have a look and see what is coming in preparation for all of that.

Set aboard a deserted mining facility on Mars & solve the mystery of the missing crew
Welcome to Fort Solis, a short & intense game experience by Fallen Leaf Games.
So, there is not much more to go on for what Fort Solis is going to all be about when it comes to the gameplay side of it all. More or less, it feels like we will be wandering about the game's world, which is a deserted mining facility on Mars. We will also be heading out to find a missing crew with all kinds of things going wrong along the way. Something that makes it feel like we might be going through a bit of Space Madness out there. That would be an interesting twist for Fort Solis to miss it all, at least for me. The gameplay rather suggests it and it would make sense why we are getting a realistic feeling game but only one character in person that we will get to control. Then again, other stories have done that and not had to rely just on the insanity setting in as the explanation for why everyone is missing out there.
Are you excited to see Fort Solis is on the way this August or were you hoping it was going to hit us all a little earlier than that? Will we get to do more than wander about the facilities here or will this be a creepy walking simulation that the gameplay makes it feel like so far? Would you like to see the insanity twist used here or is that something that gets used too much in the modern day and needs to be stopped? Head down into the comment section and then feel free to discuss it all as you so wish to do. We will offer up more for Fort Solis if we can, so please keep checking back in here for all of those updates and many, many more.
