Attack On Titan
New footage for Attack On Titan VR: Unbreakable is here to give us a feel for how we will get around in this Attack On Titan title
The VR space is still expanding with the Meta Quest 3 announcement and we have more for Attack On Titan VR: Unbreakable to dig into as the game gets geared up to release out there. A title we all knew was on the way to us all and now we have a look at what UNIVRS is going to give us as a traversal mechanic out there. That is something that any of the Attack On Titan fans will be looking for in the mix, for sure, and now we get a look just at that. Even if it does not look like it will be perfectly fitting for the VR space of things out there. At least not based on what I am seeing from this new video we have in the mix.
If you have not hopped into the new video for Attack On Titan VR: Unbreakable, we get a look at the Omni-directional Mobility Gear in the mix here to get around. More or less, it is a fast grappling hook mechanic we will be using to zoom around the world and target the various Titans out there in the game world. For those that cannot handle the movement and jitters in their VR titles, this is going to be a bit rough to enjoy. It is very fitting for the Attack On Titan setting, but in a VR game, I have yet to see something like this not cause any kind of sickness. Maybe the new tech will make that easier to survive, but we will need to wait and see.
Attack On Titan VR: Unbreakable — First Concept
VR Hunting Action Game, Attack On Titan VR: Unbreakable, is coming to Meta Quest 2 / Meta Quest 3 / Meta Quest Pro this winter.
In Attack On Titan VR: Unbreakable, players are tasked with taking on unique missions as members of the Scout Regiment. They will need to combine entirely free three-dimensional movement through the use of their Omni-directional Mobility (ODM) Gear with cross-range combat in order to defend themselves against killer titans. As players progress, the battle difficulty will increase, so only those with determination and skills critical to making it through to the final battle will survive.
Attack On Titan VR: Unbreakable will feature both single-player and co-op modes, and will be available in both Japanese and English dubbed and subbed.
How do you feel about using the ODM from Attack On Titan here to get around and will it work as intended? How sick will players get or will this be the version of things that works out for the VR experience? Will there be other options added in to make things easier for those that cannot handle the zooming about? Take to the comment section and discuss all of your thoughts on this and more. We will keep whatever we have for Attack On Titan VR: Unbreakable flowing out to you, so please keep checking back for all of that and more.
