Redfall
The next hero for Redfall is shown off to us all so we can get deeper into the world of Redfall just ahead of launch
It is time again to kick back with the devs over at Arkane Austin as they dive deeper into the characters and heroes we will be joining in Redfall on May 2nd. That is, we have another of their interviews with the character they have built so we can get to know them better and see them a little more in the heat of battle. This time with Jacob: The Deadeye, who looks to be the sniper class in Redfall if we have to label them all in that way. It is not all that shocking we are going to have that with what we have seen thus far for the characters and how we still do not know if it will be more on the magic or on the technology side of things when it comes to the vampires.
As it looks, Jacob was part of a team that was sent into Redfall to help out with what is going on out there. Unfortunately, Jacob's whole team is taken down and then cursed with a magical raven that is linked to a missing eye. This seems like where Jacob gets the ability to vanish from sight and sneak about, just as a good sniper should. In addition to that and the other sniper skills, it looks as if Jacob can use the raven to their advantage and used to attack others in Redfall. I have a feeling that we will be able to use the raven to scout too, but that is not truly seen in the next bit of gameplay we have to share. Have a look and see what we are talking about just a little lower down.

Meet the Heroes of Redfall: Jacob Boyer. An ex-military sharpshooter turned private contractor. An encounter with a vampire god left Jacob with a mysterious vampiric eye, a spectral raven that’s never far from his side, and a ghostly sniper rifle.
Redfall arrives exclusively on Xbox Series X|S and PC on May 2, 2023.
Will this be the character you take on in Redfall when it launches or will you be holding off for another on the roster?
