Dead Island
Take to the streets of Dead Island 2 and take in a lot more of the gameplay we are getting for Dead Island 2
It is not like we have not had a whole lot of gameplay for Dead Island 2 before now, but we can always take more when it comes to showing off how the game will flow. We only have a little over a month before we will see it on the PS4, Ps5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC with Dambuster Studios still giving us an April 21st release. One that looks like they are going to hit with what we have to look at for Dead Island 2 here. We have over fourteen minutes of new gameplay as we get to watch the various survivors make their way through the streets of Hell-A early on in the game and ending with a look at one of the bigger undead we will have to face off with.
In the mix here, we have a look at some of the crazy melee and firearm weapons we will get to employ out there in Dead Island 2. All to work the best with the "real flesh" system that the team has put together for us in the game. This system raises things up for the location-based combat we are getting in this title here. Something that will get expanded on with the various elemental types to bring them all down. It is something we have seen in many other games out there up to now, but given that those are clones of the original Dead Island, it needs to be given a pass for now. If it was not broken, there is no reason to try to fix it all.
This seems to also go with the various undead we will face in Dead Island 2 too. Thankfully, the character models will have a bit more of a difference between them instead of just some color swaps, all thanks to the newer technology we have to allow for all of that. That way we do not need to only see the same thing recycled with just the "boss" undead to keep things changing up. That looks like it will be a newer and bigger thing in the Dead Island titles with a Bridezilla taking charge at the end of all of this here. Have a look if you have not just jumped down to the video already.

How are you liking the new upgrades the Dead Island IP is getting here and will it help push anything forward? Does the "fury mode" feel like it is needed here or should they have just given us the various things we had in the past without the need of mutating our heroes more? How many boss fights do you think we will have in the game and will they all be themed as we see here? Sound off in the comments with your thoughts on all of this and then feel free to discuss it all. More for Dead Island 2 will be shambling out there, for sure, so please keep checking back for all of that and everything else we have to share along the way.
