Amnesia: The Bunker Is Announced & Aiming To Change Things Up For The IP

Amnesia

A new entry into the Amnesia IP is coming with the announcement for the upcoming Amnesia: The Bunker

Frictional Games is not leaving fans of the Amnesia IP in the lurch any longer, as we have another title on the way from them in the line. A new title that is supposed to be hitting us all in March of 2023. A new title that claims to be changing things up for the IP. A new title that is called Amnesia: The Bunker that is hitting up the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC when it finally makes itself shown to the world at large. Great news for those that needed a nice little dose of horror in their day.

Even though this is just a basic announcement for Amnesia: The Bunker, we do get to look at some of the new gameplay that we will get to explore out there. New gameplay that will have us trapped in a WW1 bunker trying to keep the lights on and our lives intact the whole time. A thing that could be a bit more challenging than past Amnesia with this one offering up more randomized horror elements in the world and a full sandbox-type of experience to run around in. No longer will we just need to follow a story to solve the answers. We can do it as we wish while trying to keep all of the other survivor elements on point. New for the IP, but not for the genre in general.

Amnesia: The Bunker — Announcement

Coming to PC and Consoles March 2023.

Amnesia: The Bunker is a first-person horror game from the makers of SOMA and Amnesia.

Left all alone in a desolate WW1 bunker with only one bullet remaining in the barrel, it’s up to you to face the oppressing terrors in the dark. Keep the lights on at all costs, persevere, and make your way out alive.

Have you been waiting for a whole new Amnesia title to join the mix or did you want to see another remake/remaster out there? Will this sandbox give us truly all the freedom to move about or will we still have a few paths we have to take no matter what? How do you make a bunker feel like an open sandbox or is that just how they are terming the fact we do not have to follow the specific story if we do not want to? Tell us what you are thinking in the comments and discuss it all until the game launches. We will have more for Amnesia: The Bunker here, so please keep coming back to see and hear all of that in due time.
