Nintendo has released their upcoming plans for E3 2015 and one of them involves bringing the Nintendo World Championships back after a long hiatus Normally it isn't big news, at least big news to me, when a company like Nintendo announces the times for their upcoming press conferences like the one that happens each year at E3. Unless there is a big hardware or franchise return update there really isn't much to go on, especially when it comes to Nintendo lately. Activision and FreeStyleGames has released the first set of tracks coming to Guitar Hero Live and it's not all to surprising So we've seen the idea behind Guitar Hero Live and what Activision and FreeStyleGames has in the pipeline for us but we all really want to know which rock stars we are going to be pretending to be in the virtual world. Yes the announcement event did give us a couple but we know that there is supposed to be a huge catalog of licenses artists and songs for us to play through. A few instruction booklets have made it online to confirm a few other dimensions we will be going to in LEGO Dimensions in the near future Since LEGO Dimensions was announced early last April it has been a huge question as to all of the "dimensions" that could be included in the game. Ideally it would include ever property that LEGO has licensed over the years but we have had only a very truncated list thus far with TT Games and Warner Bros. promising many more on the way. Nintendo and Universal Parks are teaming up to bring us all the Nintendo experiences we want in the real world It looks like all of us who ever wanted to wander into any of Nintendo's properties are going to be able to do just that sometime in the near future. It was announced that Nintendo is now partnering up with Universal Parks to bring some of their huge IPs to said parks around the world to let us all experience what a day in the life of Mario Mario would be like. Okay, well maybe not that far but there are going to be attractions and experiences at Universal Parks that will be solely focused on some of Nintendo's major IPs. Disney Interactive has officially announced Disney Infinity 3.0 and it is bringing all of the Star Wars fun that the company can squeeze into the game We all knew it was coming but now we have the official announcement that Disney Infinity 3.0 is coming. Not only that but it is going to be heavy on the Star Wars side of things with the content. Following yesterday's tease, Activision and FreeStyleGames have announced Guitar Hero Live to be the next reboot to the popular franchise Hot off the tease from yesterday we now officially have Guitar Hero Live and it is looking to reboot the franchise with some new features and a new peripheral for the game. We'll dig into all of that in a moment but here we have it; Guitar Hero Live is coming to the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, Android, and iOS platforms sometime later this year. TT Games and Warner Bros. have announced LEGO Dimensions which is another title that mixes real toys with digital worlds Just in case you didn't have enough clutter around with Disney Infinity and Skylanders it looks like we are getting another toy-to-game mash-up with LEGO Dimensions. This would be the next new LEGO title coming from TT Games and Warner Bros.; at least if you forget about that LEGO Jurassic World title on its way as well. None the less we are getting LEGO Dimensions but the cool thing here is that the developers have taken a few great steps to separate this title from all of the other titles out there as you get to actually build the toys you will be sending into the game. In the wake of some new Rock Band DLC, Harmonix has issued out a new survey that could mean a new title or next gen port If you signed up for Rock Band's newsletter or linked your games to Harmonix's web accounts then you might have received a nice little email recently asking you to take a survey. If you did not, then A you are missing out and B you would not have been asked directly about all of your past Rock Band experiences. Shigeru Miyamoto stated in a recent interview with Smosh Games that Star Fox for the Wii U could have a playable demo at E3 2015 If you are a Star Fox and also on the list for going to E3 this year then you may be able to line up and play the game. At least if you are lucky enough to get in and willing to sit in the crazy long line that is going to inevitably be plaguing the Nintendo booth given the latest little tidbit revealed on Smosh Games. It really does seem the DC way now-a-days to cram as many of their IPs into one product and see which hits home with fans so they can then exploit that one.
