by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 23rd of January 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Tekken 7 A release date for Tekken 7 has been set for the console and PC version of the game as well as some new mechanics coming to Tekken 7 for us all A lot of gamers have been sitting and waiting to find out when Tekken 7 would be coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and/or PC and it has been one long wait to find out. So far Bandai Namco has only shown the game off in its full arcade box form and little has been discussed on the home versions of the game. Now it looks like we have June 2nd to look forward to as that has been the date set for when Tekken 7 will be coming into our homes across the globe. Read More...

Tekken 7: Fated Retribution Announced & Houses…Akuma?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of December 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Tekken 7 A sequel to Tekken 7's arcade version, Tekken 7: Fated Retribution, has been announced and looks to employ Akuma into the main story We may still have a bit of a wait to get Tekken 7 on the PS4 and Xbox One but it looks like the arcade version is already getting a sequel called Tekken 7: Fated Retribution. Well more of an updated unless Bandai Namco is taking a page from Street Fighter in terms of naming and alterations. Of course that wouldn't be a huge surprise right now as it does look like Tekken 7: Fated Retribution will be lifting at least on character from the other franchise in the way of Akuma. Read More...

Review — Hand Of Fate
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of March 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Hand Of Fate. Is this a sleeper hit that you need to try or just another game to throw aside? Here's Our Video Review Have you heard of Hand Of Fate from Defiant Development? Maybe you have and maybe you haven't but it is an interesting take on quite a few different video game genres and physical card games and RPGs. Think something along the lines of Magic: The Gathering meets a Tarot deck with a bit of a Dungeons & Dragons flare mixed in. It sounds a bit odd from that description; it did to me too, but is it worth your time and attention? Read More...

Review: Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow - Mirror of Fate HD
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 25th of November 2013 - 06:29 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow - Mirror of Fate HD. How Does This Port From The 3DS Stand Up On The PS3 And 360? Originally released on the 3DS, most of us who don't own a 3DS missed out on Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow - Mirror Of Fate. Luckily for all of us who are fans of the Lords of Shadow franchise MercurySteam added a HD rendition of Mirror Of Fate in the recent Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow Collection for the PS3 and 360. This is just in time to let us all have a good go at the full story before LoS2 comes out. As usual though, is the game worth your time or should you pass on it? Read More...

Marvel Vs Capcom 3 Has Finally Launched...
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of February 2011 - 07:41 PM ]
With that, let us celebrate by watching the fourth, I'm assuming last, episode of the story as well as a showcasing of the full roster of on-disc combatants for MvC3. Mainly for all of you out there that have yet to get your hands on the game and play through the main story path of the game. Yes there is story somewhere in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. Or at least I am hoping on the game disc itself. Read More...

Silver Surfer In Marvel Vs. Capcom 3?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of February 2011 - 06:33 PM ]
Ok, well not really the Silver Surfer himself in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 but what looks an awful lot like Galactus has turned the "Villains" of the game into "Heralds" of some sort. I mean if you watch the trailer and look at the screen shots below you get to see "Silver" Wesker, Dr Doom, Dormammu and Akuma do everything the planet eater asks of them. In this case it looks like they are asked to be the first wave of attack against which ever hero team you have brought to stop Galactus from eating the Earth. Oh, and I guess this also kills the "rumor" that Galactus is going to be in the game as well, but that is just a small bullet point here. Read More...

Shadow Boxing In Marvel Vs Capcom 3?
by Andy [ Tuesday, 8th of February 2011 - 11:52 PM ]
Ok, so here is a nice little twist to things on the MvC3 front. It looks like there is a bit more DLC already planned after launch of the game. This DLC won't be new characters, but it will bring new challengers to the table. New challengers in the form of a Shadow Mode for the game. What is Shadow Mode? It is a way that Capcom can allow users at home to download AI opponents programmed after the techniques and preferences of Capcom's development staff and famous players from the fighting game scene. So you can technically practice without leaving your gaming chair nor have to invite these people over or wait for their time to be free enough to play online against you. Read More...

Here Comes The DLC For Marvel Vs. Capcom 3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of February 2011 - 10:39 PM ]
It has been announced that Jill Valentine and Shuma-Gorath were coming to Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 as DLC for a short while now, but how are they going to look? Well I am sure your eyes have already drifted south for a second to see that we have a slew of new screen shots showcasing what you can expect the two new characters to look like and a bit of fight like. I for one am glad that they decided to go with the new Jill over the older Jill from MvC2. It kind of makes me feel like I can play as Samus as well as Jill in the game. Read More...

Another Episode For Marvel Vs. Capcom 3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of December 2010 - 05:36 PM ]
I've always been under the impression that Episodes had to have some kind of link between the stories. You know, one ends and then the next picks up where that one left off thus continuing the circle of life. So to speak. It seems that Capcom has forgotten that part of things when titling the latest story trailer for Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. The last clip left us with a fight between a slew of heroes fighting Doom and Super Skrull. Read More...

Review: Fate/Unlimited Codes Portable
by Michael Camacho [ Saturday, 5th of September 2009 - 01:11 PM ]
Fans of the anime series Fate/Stay Night have been clamoring for an American release of the fighting game series the anime was based off of. Finally Capcom has answered the fans with the release of Fate/Unlimited Codes Portable for the PSP as a download only title on PSN. Fate/Unlimited Codes Portable is exactly what its title describes, as it is the portable version of the PS2 port available only in Japan. Before I get into my review, I would like to say my review is based upon the Japanese version, and the only major difference between the two releases is the translated text in the U.S. Read More...

Capcom has announced that Fate/Unlimited Codes is headed for the PSP in June of this year.  Capcom originally created this 3D Fighting game, based on the Fate/Stay Night aeries, for arcades in Japan last year. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of September 2008 - 09:50 PM ]
Cast Of The Guild At Blizzcon So by now you should know about The Guild. If not, you either need to get learned and PWNed for being here without knowing them or watch the show. Either way will work. But in any instance, for those of you lucky enough to have got your tickets to Blizzcon this year but not lucky enough to have picked up their DVD at Comicon, or be lucky in both aspects, you will be able to meet up with them at Blizzcon. Pick up the DVD and meet and greet with the cast. You lucky sons of bitches. Read More...
