Mega Man 11 The release date for Mega Man 11 has been set now and we are able to see a new gameplay mechanic coming with Mega Man 11 in October The date has been set and it looks like Mega Man 11 will be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on October 2nd this year so that it can keep up with the whole 30th anniversary celebration that is going on for the franchise. Mega Man Is Coming To The Big Screen So Lets Cross Fingers
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of September 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
It has been announced that Mega Man is getting a silver screen adaptation of the franchise so let's hope it stays true The title, again, here pretty much takes the cake as it looks like Mega Man is getting a film adaptation for the game and it is slated to hit the big screens and not just straight to DvD. 20th Century Fox will be the big named studio behind this project but before you start your shuddering it looks like Chernin Entertainment has already tapped a few proven and talented people to make sure this Capcom title doesn't go the way of video game movies. Mega Man is one of those titles that will be looked at with a heavy eye so there will be little wiggle room given the franchises popularity and massive Mega Man fan base. Read More...

The State of Gaming: Publishers
by Fred Buell [ Wednesday, 30th of May 2012 - 10:18 PM ]
You all may have noticed lately the onslaught of things like Online Passes, On-Disc DLC, and DLC that have been announced and made before release. Many of you may be under the impression the publisher/developers are just being greedy and trying to squeeze out every penny from you. What you don’t know is the inner-workings behind the scenes. The publishers are losing money this gen due to higher cost of development, and lower economies. They also have long standing arrangements with stores like GameStop where if a game flops they will buy back the product at full price or eat the cost and make zero money back if the store decides to price cut it down to move inventory. I Love The Concept Of Video Games Live
by Matt Waitt [ Friday, 10th of February 2012 - 10:00 PM ]
In my travels through the often harsh lands of television, I have come across what might be one of the most amazing things I have ever laid my eyes on: A symphony covering video game themes. If you guys don't already know "Video Games Live" is one part rock concert, one part festival, one part classical symphony concert and all parts amazing. Video Games Live is the brainchild of the legendary video game composers Tommy Tallarico and Jack Wall, featuring an immersive event with music from your favorite video games performed by top orchestras and choirs. Along with video footage and music arrangements, epic light shows, solo performances and unique interactive segments. Read More...

Review: Mega Man 10
by 345 [ Thursday, 15th of April 2010 - 03:08 PM ]
Mega Man 10 (available on XBLA, WiiWare, and PSN for 800 MS Pts/1000 Wii Pts/$10, respectively) is an incredibly fun and enjoyable entry in the classic Mega Man series. A follow-up to 2008's Mega Man 9 in more ways than just a new number, this game takes a lot of the feedback and criticism the latter had to craft one of the best sidescrolling experiences in years. While there isn't a whole lot Capcom and Inti Creates actually changed in the bigger scheme of things, Mega Man 10 features a lot of new tweaks and balance adjustments that make it far less threatening than its predecessor and more entertaining in the long run. While there are some tough areas in the game, overall I wouldn't call it difficult at all, and perhaps it is one of the most fair games in the series. Read More...

The Blue Bomber In High Definition?
by Kevin [ Monday, 8th of March 2010 - 04:36 PM ]
You know, this Eric Ruth guy is quickly becoming one of my favorite people. Not being content with creating a Left 4 Dead drenched in 8-bit nostalgia, this guy took it upon himself to recreate Mega Man 9 in High Definition. To accomplish this, he had to redo every element of the game, from enemy art to music. So essentially what he has done thus far is take a really high profile current title and give it the retro treatment.  Now he has taken what is essentially a retro title - outfit it in high profile-y type goodness - and condensed it into a finely tuned package of incredibly awesome. by Sam [ Monday, 18th of August 2008 - 01:59 PM ]
Sometime this month, a Mega Man sports drink called "Rockman E Can Drink" is hitting Japanese beverage retailers to mark the launch of downloadable title Megal Man 9. It's made by "original drink" maker Apris and priced at ¥137 (US$1.24). Times like this I wish I was in Japan. Maybe we'll get some here in America. Read More...
