WWE 2K15 Delayed For Current Gen Platforms
by Greg Tatterfield [ Tuesday, 16th of September 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Looks like we will have to wait a bit longer to play WWE 2K15 on the PS4 and Xbox One WWE 2K15 for the PS4 and the Xbox One has been delayed to November 18th instead of its original planed date of October 28th. It looks as though this delay only affects those platforms as the PS3 and the Xbox 360 versions of the game are still slated for October 28th. 2K Games has not revealed the reason for the delay as of yet but perhaps the current gen version needs some polish for some of the features not present in the last gen versions? The new release date is a bit concerning because this puts the game against some huge releases in November such as Grand Theft Auto V, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Far Cry 4, and Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Is It Butt-Slam Or Butt-Stomp In Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
The next episode of the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel behind the scenes series is out and covers some of the game's mechanics Here we go with part two of the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel "making of" YouTube series. Part One covered how the two studios were handling the workload and physical separation. Part two here looks to cover some of the ne mechanics that will make Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel feel like a Borderlands game but "take risks" Gearbox and 2K didn't want to take in the previous titles. Hooray for being guinea pigs with something the publisher didn't have faith in two times already… Ok, well maybe not something they didn't believe in but something that the people making Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel have had time to perfect to give us that added bonus while playing. Looks Like Evolve Has Been Delayed Until 2015 Too
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
2K Games has announced that Evolve will now be releasing in 2015 instead of this October If you were lucky enough to get into the Evolve Alpha test over last weekend, consider yourself lucky. It looks like it was fruitful for Turtle Rock Studios and 2K Games but not so much for everyone hoping to get to play the game this October. Yes, Evolve has been delayed until 2015. Delayed until February 10th 2015 to be exact. Read More...

SDCC Experience: Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Laser Tag
by Julia Schoebel [ Thursday, 31st of July 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
We wondered what it would be like to enter into the Borderlands and Nerdist gave us that chance with Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Las Tag at SDCC San Diego Comic Con was not only filled with gaming/geek news this year but it was also filled with loads of amazing experiences to promote and excite fans all around. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel was not going to be left out of this as the event out there in San Diego was the perfect place to show off how awesome the game can be. Even more so when 2K Games teams up with the Nerdist crew to bring us all a way to play a live Borderlands game via laser tag and some amazing set pieces that looked like they were lifted from the game. Nerdist Is Taking Us Into The Borderlands At SDCC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of July 2014 - 09:02 PM ]
Just announced as part of the outside SDCC events is the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel laser tag arena hosted by Nerdist Not to be left out of the fun of SDCC in now Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel brought to us by Carl's Jr 2K Games and Nerdist. It looks as if they didn't want to miss out on the fun of having something like The Walking Dead Escape at the convention this year so they are bringing us a Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel themed Laser Tag arena for fans to go crazy Broadway style in. Maybe I should say "go crazy Borderlands style" instead but to each their own. During the entire convention we will all be able to be in the Borderlands co-op via laser tag from 11am to 5pm. Let's See That Texas Vs. Australia Rivalry For Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of July 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Check out the new behind the scene video produced for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel We got to see the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel E3 Demo earlier this week so why not hop in and see how all of that was made. Or at least see how part of it was made with the following "Behind The Scenes" video that has just been released to the public and internet today. It's a nice and short little video that shows how Gearbox, 2K Marin, and 2K Australia have teamed up to bring us Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel instead of Borderlands 3. Don't get too excited to see new footage for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel here though as it is filled with all of the goodies that beings like me love, the technical stuff. Read More...

Evolve Is Now Letting You Take The Hunt To The Real World
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of July 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Turtle Rock Studios and 2K have released the files to allow us to 3D print the characters and monsters from Evolve I knew it would be only a matter of time before something like what is now available from Evolve would happen. We are now able to get the in-game models to 3D print to our heart's content so we can recreate our own loved hunts in the comfort of our own homes. That doesn't sound completely 'right' to me. We are getting to do that already with Evolve in the virtual world. Read More...

Battleborn Has Been Announced And It's Not About Nevada
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of July 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Gearbox and 2K Games have announced Battleborn the next-gen hero-shooter for the PS4, XB1, and PC I guess we can now understand why Gearbox has been pushing all the Borderlands spin-offs and that is to keep the money flowing in for their new IP Battleborn. As I stated this is not a title about how Nevada became part of the United States of America but a new FPS co-op title set in the distant future. Although it could be very easy to twist the whole story back into a game about Nevada but I have a good feeling that is nowhere close to what Battleborn is going to be all about. Could you imagine though? Read More...

Here Is The 15 Minute Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Demo From E3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of July 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A narrated version of the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel E3 demo has been released for those who may have missed it Last week we had the short "Survival Tips" video for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Now we have all the goodies that we actually were able to play on the floor at E3. I swear 2K is trying to keep the wonderment of E3 going as Evolve received all the limelight there and not their other titles. No matter the case though, they have taken it upon themselves to give us a little slice of the level and mission that they had to show. Spoiler alert, it looks like Borderlands in space with a few new gizmos and elements. Read More...

Here's What People Waited 2 Hours To See For Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel At E3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of July 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
The 'under the dome' E3 exclusive video for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel has been released online for those who didn't get a chance to see it If there is one other thing I learned at E3 this year it is that all of you Borderlands fans are pretty damn rabid to see anything for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Case in point will be the below video that fans stood in line upwards of two hours just to see under the safety of a moon dome that took up a third of the entire 2K booth. Granted this was played just before we were all queued up to actually play Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel but only half of the group actually went on to do just that. Read More...

So There Will Be A Single Player Mode In Evolve
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of June 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Recently Chris Ashton from Turtle Rock Studios revealed that there will be a single-player campaign in Evolve It would seem that I was a bit confused before when it came to Evolve and the play modes of the game. I was under the impression that it was a multiplayer experience through and through. Looks like I was wrong as Turtle Rock has only focused on showing the multiplayer aspect of Evolve and kind of pushed the solo play to the side lines. That was until a few quotes from Chris Ashton (Design Director) let fly out into the world of the internet directly pointed at the single-player experience. Here's what Mr. Read More...

E3 2014 Hands On: Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of June 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Got To See Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Here on the site we have had mixed reviews and wants for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Some are excited to play the new game. Others are questioning why 2K and Gearbox are even trying to milk us for more money. None the less I was personally able to put hands to the game during E3 and I was able to see if the new additions and locations will make Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel feel like the game that the developers are trying to make it be. All at least through the eyes of the new-ish character Athena the Gladiatrix. Read More...
