White Shadows White Shadows is announced here to bring us an interesting looking new platformer with an interesting looking world too Here we go with another stylized platformer with White Shadows getting the announcement for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The next big one to come out of Headup that takes on the black and white style of visuals for the game with a few other twists. Twists like having hybrid human and animal characters for the White Shadows and a broken-down circus to build part of the world. Mortal Kombat A trailer for the upcoming Mortal Kombat animated film, Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge, is here for us to look and get excited for It is time for Mortal Kombat to come at us all again as we have another film to look towards here this Spring. No, we are not talking about the still upcoming live-action film that is coming but a nice little animated film that will carry on the story from the 2011 title from NetherRealm Studios. Cuphead A new Cuphead animated show is on its way to Netflix in the way of The Cuphead Show! using everything we loved about the game It feels like we are going back in time to a point where every video game needed a TV show tie-in as it looks like Cuphead will be getting the treatment now. Not exactly the title I am sure many of you were expecting to hear about, but it would seem that Studio MDHR selling over four million copies of the game would grab the eye of Netflix to try to set something up. On top of the classic animation style Cuphead already holds, I can see why they would want to snatch this one up and ride the success. The Beast Inside New gameplay of The Beast Inside’s current demo is out there now and it gives a better taste of what horror The Beast Inside will have for us The Beast Inside just recently kicked off the Kickstarter campaign to get the game funded and brought to completion. Since it launched it has been kicking ass and taking names as it is almost at its base goal with just under a month left to go. Sky We have some new gameplay for Sky to look at and see how Sky will be the same but different from the dev's other titles out there It has been a bit since we all first heard about ThatGameCompany's upcoming title Sky or at least saw any gameplay for the iOS title. A few months at this point, but now we are back to see some new footage for the game as well as have some of the developer's commentary on just what is going on in the game. We already knew that there would be a social aspect to it all as well as the ability to fly around the world, but here we get to see just how some of that plays into the larger side of Sky at the end of the day. Secret World It looks like The Secret World is finally going to be a TV series as a show based on The Secret World and its rebranding has been announced It only took about a decade but it looks like what I was hoping for with The Secret World is finally happening as it is being picked up for its very own TV series. That's right, the dark and horror filled MMO from Funcom is finally getting expanded into a series that will delve deeper into the world and secrets hidden within it. Not that the game or its rebranding of Secret World Legends doesn't do a great job of it already, but it will be fun to see a bit more of it all expanded upon and from others points of view. Resident Evil A new Resident Evil: Vendetta trailer has been released and it looks like we'll have more Resident Evil this Summer in the way of this CG film It's only been assumed up to now but it looks like Resident Evil: Vendetta will be coming state-side this Summer. Not only that, but it looks like it will also be getting a nationwide theatrical release as well. Just another way to get more of our beloved Capcom IP here now. Resident Evil The new CG movie, Resident Evil: Vendetta, has a new trailer and it looks like it could be a great addition to the Resident Evil lore in general There were murmurs of a new film coming to the franchise and it looks like Resident Evil: Vendetta is it and now we have a trailer to look at for the film. Okay, to be honest it really wasn't murmurs but there was word out of Capcom that we should expect to see another CG film in the franchise. Ratchet & Clank Ratchet & Clank has recently hit the small screens of home with new content. We had a chance to sit down and break the film down piece by piece. Here is our review of Ratchet & Clank Maybe you remember back when Ratchet & Clank first came out and that there was a feature film that was slated to launch with it. It did launch in theaters shortly after the video game's launch and Insomniac Games had its IP all over the place for a short time. The Division Rumors of The Division getting a full length feature film have been put to rest as The Division is now officially getting the film treatment for us all The rumors from last month look to have now been confirmed as we are now getting a feature film based on The Division. Just what everyone wanted out the MMO-like title that Ubisoft pumped out to us earlier this year…I think. In the end it looks like with the successful completion of their other film titles based on their game IPs, they wanted to make sure we all had more of The Division than just DLC and expansion that are already planned. Thief The rights to do a Thief movie have been claimed and it looks like we are on the path to actually see Thief on the silver screen Rumors and murmured words have been flying around lately that we are going to be getting a Thief movie. That would be a film based on the video game franchise that Eidos-Montréal has crafted and not another movie about random people stealing things for fun. Well I guess a Thief movie would fall into that vein of thinking but that isn't the goal here.
