Dead Island The rumors were true as Dead Island Definitive Collection has been announced and will be bringing the original Dead Island titles to the current gen systems Here we go with another rumor that proved to be true as the Dead Island Definitive Collection has been announced for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Rumors of this bundle started to pop up a while ago but then there was no word from Deep Silver on any validity to it all. Now we are seeing Techland's two great installments into the zombie world, before their current magnum opus, coming out yet again with new textures and upgraded to their new game engine. It has been announced that Deep Silver will no longer be using developer YAGER to developer Dead Island 2 which means yet another larger delay for the game Update Yager's Statement We're sorry to announce the termination of our joint project with Deep Silver. As of now YAGER is no longer responsible for the development of Dead Island 2. Timo Ullmann, CEO of YAGER Group, elaborates: ”Our Yager team is fully committed to the development of AAA quality titles. Sad news as Dead Island 2 has been delayed due to unreleased reasons but to make Dead Island 2 a better game You can't tell me you are all that shocked to hear that Dead Island 2 has been delayed here. The original release schedule put it on task to be released Spring of 2015 and since that is about to come to a close and we haven't had much in the way of updates since August of last year it would seem that Deep Silver or Yager were going to make this announcement sometime soon. Sadly though that announcement is today as Dead Island 2 has been pushed back to a 2016 release instead of a 2015 release. Dead Island: Epidemic, the ZOMBA title from Deep Silver, has now entered an open beta stage for us all to play and test Good news for all of those who were excited for Dead Island: Epidemic but were not able to participate in any of the closed or past betas for the game. It looks like the game has now entered into a full open beta for all to enjoy. Not only that but it looks like there have been a few new things added into Dead Island: Epidemic to entice us all in joining the Zombie Online Multiplayer Battle Arena, or ZOMBA for those who don't know how to make acronyms. We've had a plethora of titles just drop and many more in the coming weeks leading up to December. Hells, we even had two reviews this week for #killallzombies and Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare here and have yet to even scratch the surface of all the titles that have been causing a stir in the video game industry. A new trailer for Escape Dead Island has been released from Fatshark and Deep Silver with a release date mixed in It's only been a few days now since we brought you a few new looks at Escape Dead Island. We pondered on the release date for the game and now it looks like we will all be getting to Escape Dead Island on our PS3, Xbox 360, or PC on November 18th.
