Review of Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures Episode I: The Fright of the Bumblebees
by Brian Bentley [ Tuesday, 24th of March 2009 - 10:47 PM ]
Telltale Games has a formula for success and this time they have added a British compound to their already stellar lineup of point-and-click, episodic games (Sam&Max, Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People).  Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Adventures begins its four episode run today with “Fright of the Bumblebees.”  Wallace and Gromit are the main characters of a British animated series developed by Nick Price of Aardman Animations.  Using stop-motion clay animation, the series depicts Wallace, an absent-minded inventor, and his silent, faithful companion Gromit. Four Decades Of Evil
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of March 2009 - 09:45 PM ]
Resident Evil Retrospective Episode 6 Just in time for the North American launch of the game comes the final part to the recap of the franchise that Game Trailers put on for us all. Leaving us with, in my opinion, one of the best recaps of a franchise I've seen in a while. Biases aside from the franchise, this 22 minute clip covers damn near everything that has ever gone on in the franchise. This whole final recap is a history, in order of events, from all of the main games and story of Resident Evil. Leading all the way back to 1966 when the founders of Umbrella found the Progenitor virus to do basics tests. Read More...

The Chronicle Continues
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of March 2009 - 04:04 PM ]
Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles Announced With the 5th installment of the franchise mere hours away from the mass populace, it should really be no shock that Capcom is going to try and keep the Resident Evil steam roller going by announcing not one, not two, but three new games they plan to bring out to market before the end of the year. Looks like they want to make 2009 year of Umbrella. If only all three were actually original games. Read More...

Dark Void Website Up With Trailer For those of you that got excited a month or so ago when you saw the game play footage or even just Heard of Dark Void, then here is a bit more for you to get all sloppy downstairs about. Well somewhat at least. I tried to find easter eggs anywhere on the site, but there was nothing I could find. No there isn't any more news about this game or really any further details that haven't already been released out there for you, but you can surf to the game's official website and check out the new trailer for this game. When you are done with that, you can also sign up for updates to be sent to you when they have more. Read More...

More Hidden Mercenaries
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of March 2009 - 11:58 PM ]
Resident Evil 5: Mercenaries What kind of Resident Evil title would it be if it didn't have a Mercenaries type extra mini-game added into the mix right? Well Capcom knew this would be something fans of the franchise would be looking for and up until earlier today they didn't let too much out about the feature of the game. Well at least fans that have looked forward to it since it first came around in Resident Evil 2 and then pretty much now a staple. That's right, there will be a Mercenaries game added to your menu once you beat the game through on one go around. Read More...

Give More Than Just Money For Resident Evil 5
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of March 2009 - 09:19 PM ]
Come Give Resident Evil 5 A Shot It's not every day that a game company asks you to give more than just your money for a game. Even though it may seem like you have to, at least to get some of the crazy special editions or bundles for the game. Resident Evil 5 not being an exception. At least if you want to get the cool collector's edition with all the goodies. But in this case, you won't be giving your blood for the game, but for just the fact of donating. All under the fun guise of being for the game. Read More...

Fire Vs. Water
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of March 2009 - 06:53 PM ]
View Of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel For those of you who are psyched for the new Action RPG Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, then you are in for some fun little eye candy. Just released are some screen shots and a new trailer for the game. Of curse they are below for you to ogle and make feel dirty like your next door neighbor who just happened to walk by their window naked and caught you staring with a telescope. What does look interesting though is the new engine that they use for the game. Some might not think that it is, but look at it. Read More...

A Game You May Have Missed: Noby Noby Boy
by Kevin [ Monday, 2nd of March 2009 - 03:33 PM ]
Every now and again, I'll look for a title that may have fallen through the cracks or that I know is new to some and familiar to others. More often than not it'll be a title that either caused my head to implode or really seemed to fall below the radar.Noby Noby Boy is a little title for the PS3 by Keita Takahashi, the creator of the Katamari Damacy series. I picked up solely on that premise alone - becuase of the inventiveness of the original and the expectation of something just as entertaining. That being said, I'm not sure what this game is. Posse Up!
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of February 2009 - 09:16 PM ]
Spore Galactic Adventures Now that we have all had a chance to play Spore and get our little single-celled organisms up to the point where they can leave their home planet and fly around the universe, what is next to do? I mean you could go through it all again making yet another set of creatures that look very phallic in nature. You could go through all that hassle, but wouldn't you rather take you creatures and do something with them? You know you want to. Read More...

Hot Damnation
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of February 2009 - 07:32 PM ]
New Screen Shots of Damnation Steam Punk is totally getting a new go around to be popular. Well not that it was very mainstream popular before, but Codemasters seems to be giving it a fighting chance with their new IP Damnation. A third person shooter game that looks like it has a bit of Parkour or free movement added in to make the game a little more in line with what current games are almost demanding now. Think kind of like Mirror's Edge, but with shooting people and a bunch of technology run off the power of steam. Now that my diatribe is over with, here are some great new shots as well as a video placed out there for this game to show you how cool Steam Punk is. Read More...

Did You Google Swinging Video
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of February 2009 - 09:15 PM ]
Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop Webisode 2 So if two day is too long to wait for a chance to try out the motion controls for Capcom's new Dead Rising game, they have brought out another of those fun little videos showing you the controls for the game. This time it shows off how to attack with any of the melee weapons you can pick up in the game. As we know there are a lot of random things like this in this franchise. As you guessed it, it really just comes down to waving the WiiMote to swing the weapon at your targets. Read More...
