Steam Punk is totally getting a new go around to be popular. Well not that it was very mainstream popular before, but Codemasters seems to be giving it a fighting chance with their new IP Damnation. A third person shooter game that looks like it has a bit of Parkour or free movement added in to make the game a little more in line with what current games are almost demanding now. Think kind of like Mirror's Edge, but with shooting people and a bunch of technology run off the power of steam.

Now that my diatribe is over with, here are some great new shots as well as a video placed out there for this game to show you how cool Steam Punk is. Yes cowboy hats and gear are required, so deal with it. Even though, it does have a nice little feature to make it easier to survive, you can shoot while hanging onto something. Not the best tactical advantage in the real world, but when it comes to sneaking up and killing someone in the game world, it is very handy. Watch the video to see it in action.
