Get Ready To Dance With Ratchet & Clank This April
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of January 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Ratchet & Clank The release date for Ratchet & Clank has been set and we have some more groovy Ratchet & Clank gameplay footage to get us all pumped for the reboot If you were wondering about any of the similarities that the Ratchet & Clank film will have to the reboot video game then you can add the release date to the mix of things as it look like we are set for and April 12th release date for the PS4 title. Of course as this is a reboot and not a remastering of the original Ratchet & Clank we have more to look forward to from Insomniac Games for this new game than just pretty new graphics. Some of which will be set by the film and game to reset the origin story that many PlayStation fans have grown to love. Read More...

CES 2016 Hands On â Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of January 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Rush Of Blood While At CES I Was Able To See Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood It was only announced a few months ago but Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood was one of the huge titles on display at CES 2016 in Sony's VR section of their booth. PlayStation didn't have a huge section this year but this Supermassive Games spin off from the main title was one of the bigger things for the PS4 and PlayStation VR here. Lines were up to an hour and a half long to play the ten minute demo of Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood and I braved it just for you so I could let you know how the game is shaping up for all of us. Uncharted 4: A Thiefâs End Has Been Hit With A Few Delays
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of December 2015 - 01:00 PM ]
Uncharted 4 It is being reported that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has now been met with delays pushing Uncharted 4's release date back over a month further The wait for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has now become a little bit longer as it has been hit with a bit of a delay. It looks like we won't be seeing the game on the PS4 until April 26th 2016 now instead of the original mid-March release date that Naughty Dog gave us a while back. Just over a month's worth of delay and the excuse, as usual, is that Uncharted 4 needs a bit more polish and tweaking to meet not only our expectations but that of the developer's as well. I guess it means something when they want to push back their magnum opus for the franchise just a tad bit further. Read More...

Drawn To Death's Trophies Tell Their Own Story As Well
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of November 2015 - 05:59 PM ]
Drawn To Death The trophies for Drawn To Death have shown up online and they add their own flare to the system as well as expand on Drawn To Death's story hidden in the game If you've been following along with Drawn To Death and everything up to now you may have seen the fun way that Bartlet Jones is telling a story in this third-person arena shooter title. More or less it is the inner thoughts of a teenage male and everything he is seeing and experiencing in life. A lot of which makes a perfect mirror for Drawn To Death to real life but that is getting a little more thought provoking than needs to be the case. Read More...

New Heavy Rain PS4 Screenshots To See How Well The Game Weathered
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of November 2015 - 03:00 PM ]
Heavy Rain A new set of screenshots for Heavy Rain on the PS4 have surfaced to let us see how well Heavy Rain held up from last gen to next gen It has barely been a day since we heard that Heavy Rain was hitting the PS4 on March 1st with all of the upgrades. I figured we wouldn't see any updates or anything until after the PSX this year when Quantic Dream will have a chance to show things off to more fans out there. Looks like I may have been wrong as it looks like we have a few new screenshots for Heavy Rain on the PS4 to show us how well the characters and world are going to make the leap from the PS3 to the PS4. Happy day and more Heavy Rain please! Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of November 2015 - 01:00 PM ]
PS2 Emulation It has been confirmed that PS2 Emulation will be coming to the PS4 so we can have some form of backwards compatibility even if it is only PS2 Emulation Looks like PS2 Emulation is on its way to the PS4 so we can finally have some backwards capabilities with the console now. It has been confirmed by Sony so there is no more debate but based on some titles bundled in with the Star Wars Battlefront editions PS2 Emulation is here and it looks to work well. Few details have been officially stated about it but if things are true from what Digital Foundry found it looks like there is more that PS2 Emulation mixed into this whole update. Some rather interesting things in fact. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of November 2015 - 01:00 PM ]
Ratchet & Clank Some new gameplay footage for Ratchet & Clank has been released and it shows off some of the new and classic weapons of Ratchet & Clank First we have a new trailer for the Ratchet & Clank movie and now we have a bit more of the gameplay for the title that Insomniac Games is currently working on to go along with the film's release. Of course that doesn't mean that we should be looking forward to nothing but a film tie-in for Ratchet & Clank but some form of a decent game for the PS4. Of course you can be the judge of that yourself as it looks like we have some new gameplay footage for Ratchet & Clank in the form of what looks like basic B-roll most likely for Paris Games Week. Try And Survive Until Dawn With Only Your Ears
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of October 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Until Dawn A new 'experience' for Until Dawn has been released into the wild that uses Binaural Audio to try and place you in the world of Until Dawn with only your ears to help Until Dawn has been out for six weeks now. Crazy to think about that isn't it? It's also crazy to think about the fact that Supermassive Games missed the opportunity to have Until Dawn launch in October instead and use all of that horror drama for a good use around Halloween. I think Until Dawn would have sold even better than it already has and the reviews even stronger if it matched up but that doesn't change a thing here. Especially since it looks like Until Dawn will have some kind of clout during October with the PS4 game proper and a new little experience. Read More...
