Try And Survive Until Dawn With Only Your Ears
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of October 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Until Dawn A new 'experience' for Until Dawn has been released into the wild that uses Binaural Audio to try and place you in the world of Until Dawn with only your ears to help Until Dawn has been out for six weeks now. Crazy to think about that isn't it? It's also crazy to think about the fact that Supermassive Games missed the opportunity to have Until Dawn launch in October instead and use all of that horror drama for a good use around Halloween. I think Until Dawn would have sold even better than it already has and the reviews even stronger if it matched up but that doesn't change a thing here. Especially since it looks like Until Dawn will have some kind of clout during October with the PS4 game proper and a new little experience. Read More...

PlayStation Is Giving PS4 Owners The Chance To Beta Firmware
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Looks like the rumors from March are now true as PlayStation is allowing members to sign up to beta test new firmware for the PS4 Way back in March of this year rumors started springing up that PlayStation users would be getting a firmware beta program for the PS4. Nothing was concrete and set in stone back then as this was all based on a few emails and screen shots that could have been faked. Well it turns out they were not faked as right now PS4 owners who want to give new firmware a try can sign up to beta test on their systems. Because this is apparently a thing that PS4 owners have wanted so their Xbox One buddies would stop having something to gloat about. Read More...

Until Dawn Gets Another Trailer To Drive Home The Butterfly Effect
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of August 2015 - 03:00 PM ]
A new gameplay video for Until Dawn has been released to show more teenage death, horror, and the butterfly effect we'll play with in Until Dawn As if yesterday's installment of teenage death and terror from Until Dawn wasn't enough we have yet another trailer for the game. Only this time it is a gameplay trailer for Until Dawn and not a live action one. It also happens to touch upon the butterfly effect again as this is something that Supermassive Games has been pushing since Until Dawn was changed over to a PS4 title. At least to my memory. The PlayStation Experience Is Coming Back & To A New Location
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of August 2015 - 03:00 PM ]
Sony has announced that the PlayStation Experience will be happening again only this time the PlayStation Experience will be in San Francisco Given the success of last year's PlayStation Experience it would be a bit daft to think that it wouldn't be making a huge comeback this year. For the uneducated this would be Sony's huge PlayStation "Fan Fest" of sorts to show off all their new and current IPs, hardware, and ideas coming to their platforms. Seeing as they didn't make a big push for anything sans the Morpheus at E3 and other conventions we can most likely expect the PlayStation Experience to only show off items for the PS3, PS4, PS Vita, and the like but who knows? Maybe Sony will have some kind of huge surprise just for this event here and no one but they know at this time. Read More...

Listen To The Golden Horror Of Until Dawn's Soundtrack
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Until Dawn has officially gone gold and to celebrate we get to hear a bunch of the score used to make Until Dawn the horror fest we've been dying for You know it's been a good week when you can bookend it with great horror news like we have with Until Dawn here. We still have just under a month to wait, August 25th, before we get to experience Supermassive Games' latest title on the PS4 and from what I've seen and heard so far we shouldn't be let down. It looks like most of it is going to be solid and Until Dawn has finally hit gold status in the development cycle so now the waiting game takes place. I wish I had some other amazing horror title to play in the interim but for now we'll just have to go with the Until Dawn gameplay footage that is all of the net for now. Read More...

This Is How Everybody's Gone To The Rapture Is A British Apocalypse
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of July 2015 - 01:00 PM ]
A new developer diary of sorts for Everybody's Gone To The Rapture has been released and details out how Everybody's Gone To The Rapture is a very British Apocalypse Well Everybody's Gone To The Rapture hits the PS4 in a few weeks on August 11th. We've seen some good things for it up until now and it looks like The Chinese Room has created an amazing experience in storytelling with the game. I have yet to play any part of Everybody's Gone To The Rapture but I have seen so many little videos and explanations that I feel that I get what the game is going for and what we all will most likely experience; even if Everybody's Gone To The Rapture is not an apocalypse story that was designed for someone with my background. That background being not having grown up in a rural town in the British Isles. Read More...

Get Siked As There Is Even More Until Dawn Gameplay To Look At
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of July 2015 - 01:00 PM ]
New gameplay for Until Dawn has been released from a preview build of the game and it is full of all the jump scares you could want in Until Dawn At the rate that we are getting new videos for Until Dawn we may not have much of a game left to play when it hits the PS4 on August 25th. At least that is how I am taking it from all of the stuff I've seen. That means I am also hoping that Supermassive Games has kept all the really juicy and bloody bits of this horror game under wraps until we are able to push past that date. Hopefully it makes sense but then again there are a lot of films and shows spoiled by all of the promo videos and teasers today thanks to the internet and cyber-sleuths out there. Read More...

Two More Possible Characters For Drawn To Death Shown Off
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of July 2015 - 03:00 PM ]
Two more characters for Drawn To Death and their design process have been shown off and the design team wants to know your opinion It's only been about a month since we had our fist look at a new character for Drawn To Death so it seems about right for us to get another. How about two more? Well that is what we have eyes on here as the Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency has released the high concepts for two more possible character for Drawn To Death. One tentatively named King Tut who employs ancient Egyptian style weapons and the other being tentatively named Sci-Fi Ninja. That character's abilities and weapons in Drawn To Death should be kind of self explanetory for the most layperson out there. Read More...

More Until Dawn Screenshots To Tide Our Teenage Bloodlust
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of July 2015 - 03:00 PM ]
A few more screenshots for Until Dawn have been released for all of the news outlets not lucky enough to play the alpha build of Until Dawn It looks like preview builds for Until Dawn have been making the rounds to all of the outlets that sell their services so they can help promote a game that isn't getting much backing from the publisher as it would seem. This of course means that the rest of us get some nice new screenshots for Until Dawn fresh from what Supermassive Games wants to share with us so as not to spoil anything. That would be a great letdown for Until Dawn if we spoiled all of the great PS4 horror fun before it launched on August 25th wouldn't it? Read More...

God Of War III Remastered Is Now Out & Kratos Is Destroying The PS4 Gods
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
God Of War III Remastered has launched today and we have a nice, new trailer to show off how we all could be experiencing God Of War III on the PS4 The date has come and God Of War III Remastered is finally here for all of us who want to play the game on the PS4. It could the first time or it could be the 30th time but none the less God Of War III is now on the PS4 and remastered to 1080p and 60fps by Wholesale Algorithms for Sony Santa Monica. It has all the bells and whistles we remember from the first version just made all pretty for the next gen system as we all wait for God Of War IV or some other iteration to be created as teased by Cory Barlog at the PSX event last year. I guess it will be HD remasters until then. Read More...

Let's Compare More God Of War III Remastered To The Original
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of July 2015 - 02:59 PM ]
If you needed more reasons to give God Of War III Remastered a go then we have it being compared side by side with God Of War III God Of War III Remastered is on the verge of launching on the PS4 to capture the hearts of all those new gamers who have not been able to play the game yet. I'm talking July 14th for those that haven't been keeping up with the times. Sony Santa Monica has taken great care to make sure we can have this PS3 title on the PS4 so we should all be getting excited. It is only the ending of sorts to the franchise's story (so far) and we need to make sure that everyone gets to play that on the PS4 even if they have yet to play the first God Of War titles not native to the PS4 just yet. Journey Is Making The Leap To PS4 On July 21
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of July 2015 - 02:59 PM ]
A new look for Journey as well as the PS4 release date have been shared so we can all experience the fun of Journey That wait is almost over as Journey will be making the final leap onto the PS4 here on July 21st. No messing around with any jibber jabber we just get right into the point here just as ThatGameCompany did with the announcement for the move. It's not the biggest of news as there isn't all too much to add to Journey as a whole but now we will have it on every PlayStation platform available as Journey is fun enough to dictate more play throughs. If you don't want to believe me then give it a go on the PS3 and tell us all otherwise. Read More...

See The Uncharted 4: A Thief's End E3 Demo Most Haven't Seen
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Not all of the Uncharted 4: A Thief's End E3 demo was shown to the world during the Sony Press Conference but we have that second half of the Uncharted 4: A Thief's End goodness just for you I'm going to start this off with a small spoiler alert that not everyone at E3 gets to see the same demo and that was also the case when it came to the Uncharted 4: A Thief's End demo shown to the world during the Sony conference. Not to out of the norm as the powers that be like to give news sites and publications a little more to look at to spice up their coverage; not that Naughty Dog really needs any extra spice for Uncharted 4 here but that seems to always be the norm in the recent years. I could go on and on all day about that here but that isn't why we are here right now as we have something nice to look at for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End instead. Read More...
