See More Of The Abilities & World Of RAGE 2 With This New Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of January 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
RAGE Previews of RAGE 2 have been pouring out and that means that we have new gameplay to look at that focuses on many different aspects of RAGE 2 It looks like we have a flood of new things to look at for RAGE 2 now as another larger media showcase and preview has taken place and all of that preferred media is allowed to talk about what they saw and played. Not bitter at all here. It would be nice if Bethesda did give us a ring so we could join in the fun directly, but for now, we will sit sideline and round things up for you. Read More...

Not just the ones that have been announced and slated for release already, but also all of the other ones that have yet to be announced as well. There are so many possibilities it is hard to keep track of them all and we need good reminders of them. RAGE 2 Will Be Opening Up Its World This Coming May
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
RAGE A new trailer for RAGE 2 is here to show off its open world and also let us all know when RAGE 2 will be launching out there The latest for RAGE 2 is finally here after all the teasing and rumored drops of it coming. Now we have a look at the nice and chaotic open-world that Avalanche Studios is giving us in the title that many thought would not be made. The original RAGE is not one of the best-selling hits that Bethesda has ever had, but it did well enough for a sequel. A sequel we will be seeing on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 14th now. Go On An Assault In Eden With The Latest For RAGE 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of August 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
RAGE New gameplay for RAGE 2 is here fresh from QuakeCon and it gives us more of how we will fight in RAGE 2 as well as a mission we will undertake QuakeCon is here so that means that Bethesda will be out there showing off more of their titles to come like RAGE 2 here. It makes sense as it is their big con for the year, so let us not look any gift horses in the mouth and such and enjoy that we now have more from Avalanche Studios to look at. A whole lot more at that. In fact, we have almost eight more minutes of RAGE 2 to take in here as we wait for the 2019 release window to close a little more and we can take the game in on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC. by Dakota B. Johnson [ Tuesday, 12th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
B3 Now that BE3 has come and gone, here are my thoughts on the Good, the bad, and the ugly of BE3 2018 I am still too tired from the emotional rollercoaster that was the BE3 conference. I had to watch it twice to make sure I understood correctly. Boo to Fallout being online and hurray for their being a new Fallout game! That helmet is beautiful and I will never take it off. Let’s get started, shall we? Read More...

Insanity Rules In The First Gameplay For RAGE 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of May 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
RAGE The first gameplay for RAGE 2 is here and it looks to outshine the previous RAGE in many different ways from shooter to open-world Just as we were promised, we have the first bit of gameplay for RAGE 2 to gaze upon and so far it does not look like we are going to be let down in the hype arena. Not only that, but it looks like it all also came along with some other news from Bethesda for the game for us all to digest and get amped up for another large showing at E3 this year. Like, for starters, that RAGE 2 will be a collaborated effort between Avalanche Studios and id Software and not just a solo gig. Read More...

Get Ready To Die As RAGE 2 Is Officially Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of May 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
RAGE RAGE 2 has been officially announced after many ‘leaks’ and teases for RAGE 2 started to pop up all over the internet with more to come really soon It looks like all of those ‘leaks’ and teases that we saw out there for RAGE 2 over the past week have turned out to be more than wishful thinking for some. It also turns out to be more than a fun bit of marketing that Bethesda has had with it as it turns out that the game is officially in the works and coming to us. I know some of you out there were not happy with the first RAGE title, but we are getting this sequel and it also looks like Avalanche Studios will be taking over to make the game bigger and better. So What Did You Think About Rage?
by Matt Waitt [ Monday, 10th of October 2011 - 06:23 PM ]
Now that Id Software's new IP is out, what do you guys think about it?I was thoroughly impressed with the demo Id showed off earlier this year at PAX East and eagerly waited for its release in August, but sadly it was pushed back to October. I was perfectly ok with that since I knew the finished product was going to blow my mind into oblivion, but I guess it is safe to say that I'm slightly disappointed. Now don't get me wrong, Rage is still a fun game for me to play, but I was expecting a lot more. I guess the hype got my head in the clouds. Read More...

Rage Co-Op Gameplay
by Matt Waitt [ Monday, 12th of September 2011 - 09:58 PM ]
The upcoming new FPS from Id Software Rage has another new trailer out. This time showcasing the Water Service mission with some great Co-Op. The trailer shows off the usual with Co-operative game play; Work together to win. It seems Id has implemented a bit of competition as well with a combo and point system and a sense of urgency with the whole mission being timed. Complete a step of the objective and you will be rewarded for more time. At the end of the trailer they show off a little bit of the Teammate reviving mechanic, which is always a nice addition to a co-op game. Read More...

Id's Rage Becomes Untethered With A New Trailer & Release Date
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 24th of February 2011 - 07:28 PM ]
By Matt Waitt Id Software gives us a nice little reminder that their first new IP in over ten years is coming out. That IP being Rage. This new trailer shows off some extremely beautiful landscapes of destruction as well as some promising action scenes. All set to the tune of an original song titled “Burning Jacob’s Ladder” by singer Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees, Queens of the Stone Age, Gutter Twins). The song definitely sets the mood for Rage; dark, ominous and gritty. The three things Id knows best. Read More...

ZeniMax Media Inc Acquires id Software
by Ben Brody [ Thursday, 25th of June 2009 - 06:16 AM ]
ZeniMax Media, the parent company of Bethesda, of Fallout 3 and Elder Scrolls fame, has purchased id Software, of Doom, Wolfenstein, Quake, and Commander Keen fame. The move was surprising, as more people have been questioning who was going to buy Midway rather than who was going to buy id. Daily operations won't change at id Software, “No changes will be made in the operations of id Software in the development of its games. id Software will continue to operate as a studio under the direction of its founder, John Carmack.” Soothing news to those following the development of id's next AAA game, Rage. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of January 2009 - 06:48 PM ]
Miragel Interviews Hades On CES So there was a lot that happened at this year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, NV. Quite a bit if you kept up with my articles and updates while the event was going on. More than I could make words work for. At least typed words. In that instance, Miragel, seen here on pwned, decided to conduct a small interview on the going ons of CES. We cover everything from the lack of a real gaming section at the show to some of the cool little things I saw. Check it out. Read More...
