by Ben Brody [ Wednesday, 8th of October 2008 - 10:13 PM ]
A Sony exec, namely Patrick Seybold, told potential Playstation 3 consumers that no holiday price cuts, let alone permanent, would be in the works as it would cost the company too much money. *FACTOID: Sony made $88.7 billion in revenue last fiscal year while Microsoft, whose company recently permanently dropped prices of their XBOX 360's at least $50, made $60.4 Billion in revenue last fiscal year, $28.3 billion less than Sony* While people with an HDTV are getting a 2 for 1 with the $399. Sony Gaming News
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of May 2008 - 09:16 PM ]
Butt Loads Of Updates Out Of Playstation Day   Because I couldn't afford to go international and to the Playstation Day in London, I'm relying on one of my favorite news sites to hook up the cut. So there will be quite a bit here seeing as it all goes under the same news area. No point in doing a plethora of news posts when they can all be placed here. Enjoy Killzone 2 Dated for 2009 So not too much on this game, but the release date has been given for it. Well more a release month than anything. Read More...

Sony PWNs Its Users...A Little Bit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 31st of March 2008 - 05:54 PM ]
PlayStation Store Update It's not a content update, but a whole redesign of the PlayStation Store. I'm sure you've heard something about this in the last few weeks or so. But it looks like they are actually going through with it sometime in the middle of April. No solid date has been locked down for it. The only set date is that they will not be releasing any new content on the store from April 3rd on to the actual release of the re-vamp. This of course will all be made with yet another Firmware update. Read More...

Kai Kicks Nariko Out…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of March 2008 - 06:52 PM ]
Info about Heavenly Sword II We all knew it would happen, with Heavenly Sword being a huge game. Not to mention being featured on Heroes. Another interesting thing that people didn't know is that they were asking us normal folk, from here on in Normies, our opinions. Before you ask "Where?", it was a focus group out of Chicago last night. Read More...

Slashing Prices Like Jason Voorhees
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of March 2008 - 05:15 PM ]
Annalist think there will be another Price cut for the PS3 It is nothing official announced by Sony at all, but looking at it from a financial stand point, it makes sense. They have been trying to break even on the cost of production and advertisement costs that they have already paid. Hence the high price at launch, and really right now as well. But with the announcement of Blu-Ray being the new video format and the fact that there are a bunch of new bundles coming, they should be in the green very soon. Which brings us to why the price cut.
