Nickelodeon New gameplay showcases for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl bring the noise with many of the Nickelodeon characters showing us their skills The fighting has begun in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl with so many different matches getting tossed out there for our enjoyment. We still have to wait until October 5th to be able to put them all to the true challenge, but Fair Play Labs is at least willing to give us all a bit of a taste for it all. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Finally, we are back to having an average week of things with all of these video games and their announcements. Not that we do not enjoy being bombarded with news and updates, it is hard to appreciate them all and see smaller titles like MADiSON and Chernobylite have a chance to shine. Override A new trailer for Override: Mech City Brawl is here to take us through all of the features we will experience in Override this December In the past we have had a few looks at the features for Override: Mech City Brawl. It has been more text among things than any actual gameplay from The Balance Inc. It is what it is and we will take it in strides. Brawlout The reveal for Brawlout has been made public and we get a quick look at Brawlout's gameplay as it brings the platform brawling genre to us again If you felt like you needed a new platforming brawler title, then let me show you Brawlout here. This is just what I was talking about coming out of the minds at Angry Mob Games and set to hit early 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Finally, we get a brawling game that isn't a console exclusive or something and I'm glad to see Brawlout giving the genre another try. Brawl, the re-built Basement Crawl, has an updated trailer for us to show how the developer has improved the PS4 title outside of changing the name Remember Basement Crawl from earlier this year? The creepy take on Bomberman… No? Well that makes sense as it was a title so poorly built that the developer Bloober Team asked everyone not to review it until the issues were fixed. Then the game was scrapped and re-branded as Brawl. Sounds more or less like they just shortened the title to combine the original title just as this version of the game contains the same core gameplay of Basement Crawl. Read More...

Just yesterday Activision announced a limited time collector’s edition for the upcoming Bakugan Battle Brawlers set for release on the Nintendo DS on October 20th, 2009. The collector’s edition will feature an exclusive Bakugan collector’s ball however the ball will only be produced in a limited quantity. Based on the anime of the same name, Bakugan Battle Brawlers is the story of 8 friends who come into possession of metallic cards that have fallen from the sky. GameStop is finally releasing the anxiously awaited Nintendo Wii game Super Smash Bros. Brawl this Sunday (3/9/08), but they have put a new twist on to the midnight release, a countrywide tournament. This tournament, which is free to play in, is absolutely huge! There are 45 pages of participating first round stores from all over the United States, which basically means that this is probably going to be one of the biggest tournaments ever. This tournament has four rounds. GameStop will be flying the eight semifinalists to San Jose, California to compete in the fourth and final round at their brand new tournament center and store.
