by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of February 2015 - 01:00 PM ]
New rumors out there is a Legend Of Zelda live action show is being developed by Netflix from the Wall Street Journal It's only been seven years since we had that IGN April Fool's joke about there being a live action Legend Of Zelda film in the works so it is about time we get that all spinning up again right? Of course it is. Only this time it isn't April Fool's Day and this doesn't look like some elaborate hoax to generate web traffic to the IGN website. Read More...

The First Episodes Of Powers Is Coming To PSN In March
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of January 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
The release date for the first three episodes of Powers, the first original live-action series for PSN, have been announced Powers was announced a back in June of last year at E3. Then we received a tease for it during the New York Comic Con. It was supposed to launch sometime during the Holidays of 2014 but as of the PlayStation Experience where Powers was a relative no show, pun intended, the PSN Live Action show had not been shown yet. In fact, it wasn't until I logged into PlayStation Plus later in that month to see that the release date for the show had been altered to sometime in 2015. Well now we know when that date is in 2015 so we wait no longer. Read More...

A New Friday The 13th Game Is In The Works For 2015
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of January 2015 - 01:00 PM ]
It's been announced that there is a new Friday The 13th title in the works from Crystal Lake Entertainment and an un-named developer Good news for us horror fans, maybe, as there is a new Friday The 13th video game in the works. This is to go hand in hand with the new TV show and film but hopefully will not be solely a tie-in for the franchise. Details are still sparse on it all since the news dropper "exclusively" on EGM Now but that does not mean we don't have at least the basics as we wait for the anything visual for this new Friday The 13th game. It's been over 25 years now since Jason graced our video games so it is high time and Crystal Lake Entertainment thinks they need to get piece of the gaming pie again. Read More...

Oh The BioShock Film That Could Have Beenâ¦
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 31st of December 2014 - 03:00 PM ]
Concept art for the canceled BioShock movie has been released online showing off the direction that the film could have taken If there was one franchise that could have made the jump into films easily it was BioShock. The environments, the characters, the story, and well everything about it could have easily made the jump. Unfortunately at this time BioShock will not be gracing the silver screen in a film sort of way. The project was canned a while back due to having the funds slashed from $200 million to $80 million. The Interview Is Up On Xbox Video But Not Video Unlimitedâ¦Smart Move
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of December 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
You can now watch The Interview on Xbox Video and other services but not Sony's own video unlimited… yet… While not directly video game news, The Interview being placed on our gaming systems for streaming could lead to some gaming outages in the coming days. What I am talking about here is that Sony has decided to let the film stream on YouTube, Google Play, and Xbox Video as of this writing. There are plans to let it go to other platforms, including Video Unlimited on the PlayStation Network but those plans are supposedly coming shortly. This is either a stoke of marketing genius or nothing is going to happen but people seeing The Interview. Read More...

Heavenly Sword has been given the CGI film treatment and we've had a chance to sit down and check it out. This is one of my favorite video games to date and just like if there was a God Of War film I would lose my shit and be first in line to check it out. Fortunately, Heavenly Sword didn't require me to fight the masses but have a watch in the comfort of my own godly cave and watch it I did.
