by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of April 2024 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It is now time to place another week behind us and take in all of the video games we have had to look at for the week. There were a lot of titles dropped or updated this week and many on the smaller size when it comes to teams. Sker Ritual and Capes certainly come to mind and then there were other video games that just had some awesome updates like The Outlast Trials and Dead Island 2. It might have felt slow in general, sure, but there was still a solid week of updates and footage to look at along the way. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of April 2024 - 05:00 PM ]
Crime Scene See how you might be cleaning up a Crime Scene with a prologue coming out for Crime Scene Cleaner The cleaning simulation games keep on flowing out there and another one is on the way with Crime Scene Cleaner. Not a new title to be announced at the very least with President Studio having placed it out there in the wild for a 2024 release on PC. The new announcement for it all is that we can get a bit of a taste of what is to come to us all with Crime Scene Cleaner as soon as April 4th. Not the full game, sadly, but a nice little prologue to the game so we can take things for a test drive and see if this is going to be the next cleaning simulation title we add into the mix. Japanese Man Arrested For Deleting Friends Near Max MMO Character
by Michael Camacho [ Monday, 6th of October 2008 - 04:58 PM ]
A Japanese man with an intent to use his friend's three and a half year old MMORPG character, is now being prosecuted for cyber-crimes in Japan for deleting said character. Both men are friends in real life and on the server, though I'd say now that they were friends at this point.  The guy who actually created the character was about to finally max out his character after the long three years plus journey, so when he found out all his hard work was deleted, he contacted the local police departments cyber crimes unit. When the friend was caught, the motive turned out to be simple jealousy than anything else, as he told police he just "Wanted his character." The perp is being charged with unauthorized access, but most likely should've been charged with criminal damage or theft. Read More...

Screenshots Released for CrimeCraft MMO
by Aaron BlueWolf72 Molloy [ Tuesday, 15th of April 2008 - 04:09 AM ]
Thanks to GamePolitics for this bit of news but I am looking forward for more news on this:   Looking very much like a massively multiplayer Grand Theft Auto clone, Vogster’s CrimeCraft has been slated for release in early 2009. While the official website offers little aside from a logo, some screenshots have been released. Also, there’s the CrimeCraft Wikipedia entry. With what will likely be thousands of players engaged in live, online GTA-like action, expect CrimeCraft to be controversial when it launches. Read More...
