Rise Of Immortals Enters Open Beta

Petroglyph Games has opened its doors to everyone willing to participate in the new free-to-play Multiplayer Online Battle Arena game Rise Of Immortals. In fact, it's so open, you just need to head over to their site and sign up! This title has been in beta for a couple of months now, and finally ready for the public to get some hands on time with it. Well if getting a sneak peak of the soon-to-be released title isn't enough, players that participate in the open beta test will get 1000 Petroglyph coins at launch (a little over $10 micro-transaction cash). Petroglyph Enters The Arena With Rise Of Immortals

Petroglyph Games, the studio behind Guardians Of Graxia and the highly anticipated End Of Nations, just announced a new free-to-play online micro-transaction title called Rise Of Immortals. With promises of new features and a slew of content after launch, RoI could be a powerhouse in the Battle Arena. Rise Of Immortals is a Defense Of The Ancient (DotA)/Massively Online Battle Arena (MOBA) style game. Guardians of Graxia: Elves and Dwarves

Today Guardians of Graxia (Reviewed here) is getting its first full expansion pack Elves and Dwarves. With the new expansion come new guardians, new units, new abilities and six new skirmish maps. It's a pretty big deal. New Guardians First out of the gate are the new guardians, GoG is introducing a new elf and dwarf Guardian with corresponding units. First is an elf labeled as deceitful and Broxin the dwarf is greedy by nature, but aren't all dwarves really? These two guardians now bring the guardian count up to six. Read More...

Guardians Of Graxia Gets Steamed Up

Although it launched on Steam last week to a rocky start, Petroglyph games released its latest content filled Map Pack, for the tiny price tag of $12. There has been some great content added and a few items that didn't make it in. So let's take a look at what we should be thankful for in this latest content release for Guardians of Graxia. Petroglyph Games is one of those companies that you never know exactly what they're going to do next. Coming from a background of RTS video games and making a splash in the CCG/board game market, they are definitely a company to keep an eye on. With their diverse experience, Petroglyph Games have decided to take the best of both worlds and mash them together into a tiny download for about $9.99. They call it Guardians of Graxia. Mytheon Being Held Hostage By VooDoo

Just when you thought it was safe for us to poke our heads out and not hear about some new legal action taking place between video game companies, (Activision and Infinity Ward I'm looking at you) a new one hits. Not between those two though, but between a couple smaller companies, Petroglyph Games and True Games. Before you ask, no it is not about who gets to keep "Games" in their title. Mytheon Enters Open Beta

Mytheon, the new MMO from developers True Games and Petroglyph Games, announced today they will be entering the open beta stage on Wednesday, April 28th 2010 (this title is currently in closed beta) Want to get in on the action, well it's easy: Anyone who registers to play at will be able to immediately play Mytheon The companies have also announced that there will be a "Champions of Mytheon" Premium package for a short time that will give players the opportunity to access discount currency, exclusive items, coins and previews of upcoming content.
