In 2006 Marvel and Activision teamed up to create Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. Built on the X-men Legends engine, Ultimate Alliance featured the largest collection of comic book characters ever seen in a video game. Combining the standard roster with downloadable content, Ultimate Alliance featured nearly 40 playable characters. The game was a success and this coming fall we'll get to see the sequel Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2: Fusion. Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 Coming To Live And PSN Looks like the complaining and wishing have finally paid off for all of us Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 fans. Well somewhat. Don't you hate when I say that because it generally means it comes with some kind of "but" or bad news? Well not totally this time. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 For some reason Marvel would rather slowly tease us all with a slow release of playable characters for the next ultimate alliance game. Very slowly it would seem. Almost one a month from the count that I have seen. At least outside of the original outburst of characters that were assumed to carry over from the first game. But little has been seen on this new game, pretty much about the same as the film short of trailers and such.
