Who Wants To See How They Are Creating Alien Isolation?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of March 2014 - 07:03 PM ]
There is a new trailer for Alien Isolation rife with pre-alpha footage as well as the overall goal of Creative Assembly for the franchise. I guess the answer to the above Alien Isolation question is you. You want to see it and we have it for you. Granted there isn't much new in the way of footage from the game but what we have more of is Creative Assembly's vision for Alien Isolation. Not the whole thing but enough to make any gamer a little more excited about a new Alien title given the folly of the previously release game that will not be mentioned. You can take a quick look but as usual I will give you a bit of the break down so you don't have to be glued to the screen trying to get the details and just plain enjoy yourself. Read More...

Alien Isolation Is Proof The Franchise Will Never Die
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of January 2014 - 07:24 PM ]
Alien Isolation has been announced from Sega and Creative Assembly games but will it be the Aliens game we hoped we were getting before? During the hullabaloo of CES it looks like Sega announced a new Aliens title, Alien Isolation. Yea, after the huge fiasco that was Aliens: Colonial Marines, it looks like Sega and 20th Century just doesn't want to let the franchise fall aside and let the fans still love what they already loved. One bonus that Alien Isolation does look to have is that it is being handled by a new studio, so there is that. Why don't we take a look at the announcement trailer and see what is going on here. Aliens: Colonial Marines Quality Explained?
by Matt Waitt [ Wednesday, 13th of February 2013 - 11:25 PM ]
An alleged employee of Gearbox Software by the username "ThrowAwayACM" has posted some very interesting stuff on Reddit in the past day. That stuff being information in regards to the poor quality of Aliens: Colonial Marines. "First off, due to me breaking NDA, I can't provide any proof that I'm not just talking out of my ass. But I figure you'd be interested in hearing what I have to say regardless. I've been on the project for around a year and a half, so some of the following are things I've heard from more senior guys. Games We Are Looking Forward To In 2013
by Matt Waitt [ Tuesday, 18th of December 2012 - 05:48 PM ]
With the end of the year coming soon and the end of the world coming sooner, I thought now would be a good time to show off some of the games we're most excited for. So let's get right into the goods. First off we have the third installment to the amazingly beautiful franchise of Crysis, with Crysis 3. Developed by Crytek and Published by EA, Crysis 3 takes place twenty-four years after the events of Crysis 2. Players will be taking the role of Prophet again as he returns to New York. Read More...

PAX East Hands-On: Aliens: Colonial Marines
by Matt Waitt [ Tuesday, 10th of April 2012 - 05:28 PM ]
I had the privilege to speak with the senior producer of Aliens: Colonial Marines at PAX East over the weekend. They were also giving a demo of the Multiplayer. The Multiplayer was very team oriented and forced you to work together to defeat your opponents. The only mode we played was Team Deathmatch. The marines would all huddle around each other and pick off the Xenomorphs as they tried to separate the marines. One on one a marine has a very high chance of losing to a Xenomorph mainly due to its "pounce" ability. Read More...

Review: Alien Breed Impact
by Corey Dockendorf [ Tuesday, 22nd of June 2010 - 10:53 PM ]
Alien Breed: Impact is a nostalgic nod to the classic top down arcade style shooter. Players take on the role of Conrad, a systems engineer who when it comes to weapons is a jack of all trades. If it shoots, blows something up or catches something on fire, you can bet that good ol' Conrad knows how to use it. Your ship is under attack by a swarm of Aliens and you will delve deep into the ship shooting anything that moves in an attempt to regain control. To keep things moving, at the beginning of every level you receive a cut-scene in the comic-book panel format filling you in on the story, along with full voice overs by individual characters. The Heritage Of Aliens Vs. Predator
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 23rd of January 2010 - 12:12 AM ]
Now this is what I was hoping for when Sega let loose the Kill Video for Aliens Vs. Predator. At least as it goes for graphics and action. Although it could just be that they are comparing the new game to the original that came out about ten years ago. But in either instance, here is a much better look at Aliens Vs. Predator. Also, unlike the last AvP video, this one isn't just a quick montage of images and scenes. Read More...

Aliens and Predators Show Off Their Killing Moves
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of January 2010 - 05:19 PM ]
As is to be expected, there are a myriad of ways to kill each other in Sega and Rebellion's upcoming Aliens Vs. Predator. How many, well that number has yet to be counted, but from the below video you can get a small idea. Small, just for the fact that it is a quick minute montage of killing scenes from the game. From all creatures point of view. Yes humans are included in the "creatures" of the game. Read More...

When Aliens & Predators Fight, It Sucks To Be Human
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of October 2009 - 08:52 PM ]
Being a lowly space marine seems like the worst thing to be in Aliens Vs. Predator. Just by watching the trailer down below, you get a great sense that most people will only play the Human portion if they are in for a challenge or an Achievement/Trophy whore. I mean come on, the human they show through out the clip is scared poopless the entire clip. To the point where it begs the question right? Then again, I'd be the same way if I was a lowly space marine going up against a retardababy, advanced race of space hunters or even a ridiculously agile and stealthy race of creatures that bleed acid. Hunter, Survivor, Prey, Which Will You Be?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of May 2009 - 04:18 PM ]
Aliens Vs Predator - Videogame Teaser Trailer What a great tag line for a game that looks absolutely amazing, well from the few screens and short teaser that Sega has just posted up on their blog and YouTube account. But even with it all being just a small glimpse at this game, it looks like it will be even better than the films of the same title. From the looks, it is all in game graphics and effects, although it wouldn't be the first time a game company has pulled the wool over our eyes. Also it could just be my down right glee at seeing that makes me want to believe that. Read More...

by Sam [ Thursday, 8th of January 2009 - 09:03 PM ]
It's been a while since we've gotten any information about Aliens: Colonial Marines. There have been many rumors flying around saying that the game was officially dropped and was never going to see the light of day. Luckily, SEGA has revealed to videogamer.com that it's still in the works and will be out for the PS3, 360 and PC the first quarter of 2009."Although SEGA was unable to clarify exactly what months Q1 2009 include when contacted by VideoGamer.com, it is expected to run from April to the end of June, the first three months of the Japanese company's financial year. Man whose house was hit by five meteors believes he is targetted by aliens
by Aaron BlueWolf72 Molloy [ Thursday, 10th of April 2008 - 04:17 AM ]
“I am obviously being targeted by extraterrestrials. I don’t know what I have done to annoy them but there is no other explanation that makes sense. The chance of being hit by a meteorite is so small that getting hit five times has to be deliberate.” YOUR HOUSE JUST GOT PWNED! Read More...
