Not familiar with the Alien Breed franchise? Well you should be. It has been around since 1991, on the old school Commodore personal computer. Still at that time a top down shooter, Team17 took a break from the Alien Breed franchise and went on to create a familiar franchise called Worms. They also took a crack at Lemmings on the PS2, and won a 'Best of E3 award' from IGN in 2006. Team17 Released Alien Breed: Evolution on the XBox 360 arcade last December, and then promised a PC release in summer of 2010.
Now it is back with a better co-op mode and new upgrades, and is currently available on Steam for the cheap price of $14.99. This could be the must-have Steam game of the summer. Right now you can also check out the free trial online. Keep an eye here on Aggrogamer for the full review.
