Valve announced in a press release today that the DLC to their best-selling game, Left4Dead, will be free for all users on all platforms.  Both 360 and PC users will be able to enjoy 2 new Versus campaigns and a new Survival mode.  I know I speak for everyone when I say "Thank you, Valve!"  Of course, on the plus side for Valve, they've just secured a boat-load of brand-loyal followers for years to come. Left 4 Dead has its first update available now, and the list of fixes, tweaks and upgrades is pretty vast. Currently this is only on the PC, and the Xbox 360 gamers can expect their update in a few weeks.  Here is the long list of fixes and changes included in this update:General- Fixed Survivors being able to climb surfaces marked for versus infected only.- Fixed a class of SurvivorBot bugs dealing with rescuing downed players.- Players can no longer grab ladders while flying through the air after a Tank punch. The PC demo for Valve's upcoming survivor horror game Left 4 Dead is now available for download without putting down a pre-order like in the 360 version. Opening Five Minutes Of Left 4 Dead So after seeing the beginning ads and teaser stuff we were running on pwned for a while, I've kept a close eye on this game. Ok, so I was lucky enough to receive a Call of Duty 5 beta invite!!!! (aka I just joined the COD website a few days before the beta opening) There isn't too much to say about Call of Duty 5, it's basically just Call of Duty 4 with a different look... errr era. In the beta you get to play 3 maps multi-player, Roundhouse, Castle, and Makin. All 3 maps are awesome. Gabe Newell has announced a playable demo of the co-op survival horror game Left 4 Dead that will be released for both Xbox 360 and PC and will feature both single player mode and online co-op play. Newell states: "I don't know what the date is for release [of the demo] though. I think it's going to contain the first part of one of the campaigns.
