Join In On The Devastation Of Rotterdam In Battlefield V
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of August 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Battlefield A new look at Battlefield V is here before Gamescom to show us a new location we will be running and gunning around in Battlefield V Gamescom may still be a little ways out, but that will not stop us from getting trailers early-ish as we have here for Battlefield V. It is usually how it always is for these kinds of things to get us all pumped to stand in lines to play the next subsection DICE has for us for the game wherever EA is showing it off at. You should know how it is now and it will continue for Battlefield V until October 11th when we all will be playing it and the teams move on to the downloadable content, updates, and the inevitable next title in the franchise launching next year. Unless they choose to take an extra year to make a bigger game for us all. Read More...

Things Are Getting Darker In Overkillâs The Walking Dead
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of August 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead It looks like Overkill’s The Walking Dead is heading to Gamescom and with that means we are getting a look at a new area in their take on The Walking Dead We will soon be treated with more for Overkill’s The Walking Dead as it looks like the developer is heading out to Gamescom here in the coming weeks and unsurprisingly bringing its gameplay with it. Not too shocking given that Overkill just showed the first bit off at E3 here and it was met with a whole lot of positive responses in general. Hells, we even loved the hells out of this take on The Walking Dead and are glad to see more gamers are going to get to check it out before launch. Read More...

More Characters Will Be Joining The Roster In Spider-Manâs Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of July 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Spider-Man Another bit of story is out there for the upcoming Spider-Man game and we have a look at the last of the pre-order Spider-Man suits from SDCC Just as many of us thought, Spider-Man for the PS4 was one of the big games out at SDCC that Marvel was out there showing off. It was not the only one, but that will be our focus on things right now as Insomniac Games’ version of the franchise will be landing here on September 7th and the other games looked at are out already or further out than that. All of that said, it looks like there will be even more characters than we thought in Spider-Man when it launches in all of the heroes, allies, villains, and anti-hero categories. At least if they keep some of how the latest to show up in the story close to here comic book counterpart. Read More...

Zombies Are Running Wild In Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 With More Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of July 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty More story is here for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4's Zombies mode as well as a look at the new collector's edition for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 that is coming The zombies are running free with more here for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 and we have more of the story to dig into all thanks to SDCC that just wrapped. We have had a bit of the story and look at how Treyarch is modifying the mode for this game, but here we go with a whole lot more to see for it all. It may not be anything in terms of new gameplay for this Call Of Duty, but seeing as it has not changed up much for a while as it is still a first-person shooter, that is not a huge surprise. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of July 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead New gameplay for The Walking Dead: The Final Season has come out of SDCC to get us all worried for how Clem’s story will wrap in The Walking Dead The first episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season kicks off on August 14th for those who aim to play it on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC. For those looking to see how Telltale Games is wrapping up this story on the Switch you will have to wait a bit longer for that. This is most likely not why you are here right now as this is not the biggest of updates to go with for this version of The Walking Dead. Read More...

by Duke Searles [ Wednesday, 18th of July 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Nintendo The Nintendo lounge is back at SDCC and many of your favorite Nintendo properties will be out there to play and relax with One of the staples of SDCC that I have always enjoyed has been the Nintendo lounge and it looks like it is going to be back again this year. Back again and setting up shop at the Marriott Marquis & Marina down in San Diego for fans to come out and try some of their new and old games they have out there. Super Smash Bros. and Pokémon being the big ones as usual, but there will be many others in the realm of Super Mario and the like. Read More...

All of that and Blizzard will also be setting up a cool little off-site for Overwatch fans so they can hop into the game in a way and show off to the world. Read More...

by Jana Lass [ Tuesday, 17th of July 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Capcom We have a list of everything Capcom will have out at SDCC this year coving all the Capcom IPs from Resident Evil to Mega Man to Street Fighter Heads up for all of you Capcom fans out there as they are bringing many of their games to San Diego Comic-Con this year through both demos, panels, and autograph sessions. It will not be all of their titles, of course, but it looks like the focus will be on the Resident Evil 2 remake, Mega Man 11, and the Mega Man X Collection that are all coming in the next six months at different times. Also, it looks like Street Fighter will have its presence out at the event but not in a gameplay demo kind of way. Read More...

Square Enix Is Bringing All Kinds Of Tomb Raider & Kingdom Hearts Fun To SDCC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of July 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
Square Enix Not to be left out of SDCC, Square Enix is bringing all kinds of games and events to make sure you have been able to experience all Square Enix has to offer Just as the many year's past, Square Enix will be back at SDCC this year and bringing with them all of the games that we have been keeping an eye on and hoping to play sooner rather than later. Sadly, it does not look like they are bringing much in the way of Final Fantasy, but they are truly pushing Shadow Of The Tomb Raider and Kingdom Hearts III just as they did out at E3. Not the biggest of surprises given the proximity to the release dates and SDCC being a huge fan event for Square Enix to get the games in front of more eyes than just through other people's thoughts and opinions. Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 & Spyro Are Making Their Mark On SDCC 2018
by Duke Searles [ Monday, 16th of July 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty Spyro and Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 will have a presence during SDCC 2018 with another good look at the next Call Of Duty Zombies as well With Comic-Con International right around the corner, this week in fact, it would make sense that started to see some of those gaming companies coming out there with their titles and Activision has done just that as we now know that Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 and the Spyro Reignited Trilogy will be out there in some form of force. It would have felt like a missed opportunity if neither were out there for all those who missed out during E3 and before. Not to mention that this is usually where we have been getting our big Call Of Duty Zombies updates in the past few years. Read More...

The Only Good Bug Is A Dead Bug In The Anthem E3 Demo
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of July 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
Anthem The E3 demo for Anthem has made its way online for us all to see and dig into, as there may have been things in Anthem you missed before This year at E3, Anthem was one of the larger titles many were talking about and getting hyped up for even with as little as there had been before the show started. It is always weird to see a whole lot of hype build up with such little information before, but this is another BioWare title so I guess fans will be fans. That all said, EA had Anthem down around the show for fans to try to get some hands-on time with or just see what they were getting all hyped up about. Read More...

Assassinâs Creed Odyssey Kicks Some More Gameplay Into Your Faces
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of July 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed New gameplay for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is here and it gives the rest of us a taste of what was on the floor at E3 for this Assassin’s Creed title There is no denying that we had a good showing of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey out at E3 even though it was one of the worst kept secrets of the pre-show. It always seems the case for this franchise as of late and Ubisoft either needs to embrace it or figure out a way to keep that all hidden before large shows like this. That is not why we are here though, as while we had some good gameplay and demos to experience for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on the floor, not everyone out there had a chance to see or experience them. This Week In Video Games 6/25/18 â 6/29/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We have successfully made it through yet another week and a whole lot more to look at for all of the various video games coming out there. We were also able to wrap more of the coverage we had for E3 with Control and Just Cause 4 rounding things out a bit. We also had a chance to dig into some of those other video games out there that we happened to miss on the show floor like The Sinking City. Not to mention that we were also able to get out a review for Jurassic World Evolution out there to you all in the mix. Read More...

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey Has A Few New Screenshots To Speculate Over
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of June 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Ancestors Four new screenshots for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey have popped up and they give us another hint as to what we may get to experience in Ancestors Another good chunk of time has passed since we last heard anything for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, so it seems about time we had something. Given that Panache Digital Games announced the game almost three years ago and we still have little to no clue on the inner workings of the game as of yet, one would think it is time. Just as last time, it is but only slightly. Read More...

The Closed Alpha For Battlefield V Has Kicked Off & Here Is A Look At It
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of June 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Battlefield Footage from the closed alpha of Battlefield V is here and it gives us all a look at the current state of Battlefield V and its operations It looks like the closed alpha for Battlefield V is now in full swing and that means we have a whole lot more to look at the game in terms of gameplay here. At least for those who were not lucky enough to swag one of these keys as of yet and still want to see how DICE has changed up the franchise and set things up for the new title. I am sure that this number will dwindle given how things normally go, but if EA holds out more of those keys for those who pre-order Battlefield V, this may be one of the few ways to see how the game has progressed.
