Finally Something Good
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of April 2008 - 05:23 PM ]
Something Good About The MGO Beta So I was getting really down about all the hoops and crap going along with MGO so far. Read my other Narticles about it, but there have been a load of set backs in my opinion. Then this flies into my view, and you know what? I'm a bit stoked to get in on Friday now, pending any further set backs that Konami might have before that time. The video below shows the Character Creation process for the game. It's not too long and a little bit of sound. Read More...

PWN The Size Of NES
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of April 2008 - 03:57 PM ]
NES Case Mod Into NES Cartridge At first when I saw this, it looked like some one had just destroyed a NES Cartridge. Then I delved deeper into what actually went down. They actually took all the insides of the NES system and stuffed it into the Super Mario Cartridge. Apparently this is possible even with the size of the original case of the NES. Makes you wonder why they needed so much space in the older versions of the system. I almost want to buy an old system and such just to try this out. Read More...

PWN Your XBox Heat
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of April 2008 - 04:10 PM ]
Water Cooled 360 So here is something completely random I came across while searching for fun stuff to inform you all about. A Water Cooled 360 mod. Yes, you saw and read right. It is a fully functional mod to water cool the system. The best part, the link below actually gives you the step by step to actually do the mod yourself at home. If you are interested, click it cause I'm not going to go into details about it here. Just a word to the wise though, I'm sure that it will violate the warranty for the system, so you run that risk. Over the weekend a handful of updates were released for all you STEAM users out there. If you've already restarted your Steam client since yesterday then it's already been installed. First off, Valve updated the Steam client last week, fixing some bugs and compatibility problems that some of you may or may not have been experiencing. And then again yesterday came two update bundles for those of you who have either FRONTLINES: Full of War and/or Garry's Mod on your Steam account. In the answers to our hopes and prayers, Valve has made a good impact an some common problems experienced during game and fixing bugs responsible for many crashes (God knows my Gmod crashes all the time). The 3D Mario Wii Case Ok, I know we got a load of fans for the Nintendo here. Hell I am too, but not as much as this person. I mean, I just went to DecalGirl.com and ordered my Skull Case cover for mine. I just wish that I was half as talented as this person or had half the time. Bravo on this this. Doubt it will fit smoothly anywhere, but it does look friggin' cool. Now, here' something I'm curious about, has any one else here gone this crazy with tricking out their machines? Read More...

MGS4 Content Barely Fits Inside Box
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of March 2008 - 06:00 AM ]
MGS4's Content to massive to fit on anything but Blu-Ray According to a few sites out there, it has been stated that there is no English track on the new Metal Gear game for the fact that it just couldn't be fit on to the Blu-Ray disk. So no subtitles or English voice track on the Japanese version. Which means that unless you can speak and read the language, you will have to wait for the game to come in your language instead of importing. Sounds bad at first, but that means that they used up the entire 50GB there has to be a really long game or a game that will blow everyone's minds. Read More...
