Rise Of The Tomb Raider

The final release date for Rise Of The Tomb Raider's PC version has been revealed and those gamers will be playing Rise Of The Tomb Raider before the end of January

What was being speculated for Rise Of The Tomb Raider has now been confirmed as we have a solid date that the game is heading to the Windows and Steam platforms. Yes, Square Enix has now confirmed that PC gamers will be getting to experience Rise Of The Tomb Raider on January 28^th. Only a few weeks out and not as long of a wait for Crystal Dynamics' title to finally move from the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Hopefully all of you holds outs have been able to stay spoiler free for Rise Of The Tomb Raider up to now.

Of course you could have, and still can, pre-ordered Rise Of The Tomb Raider through Steam, Amazon, or the Windows Store for $59.99 USD. There is also the Digital Deluxe edition that will cost you $89.99 but comes with a Season Pass that will score you nearly all of the DLC that has come or will come for Rise Of The Tomb Raider. For those true collectors though there is also the Collector's Edition that will run you $149.99 but comes with all of the bells and whistles that one could expect: Digital Deluxe version of Rise Of The Tomb Raider, a 12-inch Lara Croft statue, replicas of Lara’s journal and jade necklace, and a steel case. This is only available from the Square Enix e-store currently.

Of course this will also lead to the wonder again on when we will see Rise Of The Tomb Raider on the PS4. We all know it is coming and seeing that this is still technically something that could be covered by the "exclusivity" deal that Crystal Dynamics signed way back it could be an indicator that Rise Of The Tomb Raider is coming for the other consoles sooner or it could still be delayed until November of 2016 as previously speculated. That speculation did go to the PC version of Rise Of The Tomb Raider before so it is anyone's guess now as to when all gamers will have access to the game to be honest. I know I am hoping for a lot sooner than later.
