Rise Of The Tomb Raider

A new Steam listing for Rise Of The Tomb Raider indicates that we may be seeing a PC version of Rise Of The Tomb Raider by January of next year

If reports and websites are true then it looks like the wait for Rise Of The Tomb Raider to hit anything but an Xbox One or and Xbox 360 is going to be a lot shorter for us all. In fact it looks like many PC gamers will be enjoying Crystal Dynamics' latest title here as soon as January of next year if there hasn't been some kind of glitch in the system for Steam. There is still no word on when Rise Of The Tomb Raider will be hitting the PS4 as of yet but at least there is some more light being shined on the "exclusivity" of the game and when it will end.

You can head over to Steam right now, at least as of this posting, and check out the Rise Of The Tomb Raider page. It shows that the game will be available January of 2016. Square Enix has yet to give out an official date so this still could be something mucked up in the system over there but if it is true then it looks like Rise Of The Tomb Raider will be out there for PC gamers to experience after the new year. Let's all hope that is true and we can see the game set free of its bonds and given out to more gamers who just want the fun experience. Rise Of The Tomb Raider should have always had a release date for PC in my eyes.

If this does pan out to be true then it looks like those PS4 gamers could also be seeing Rise Of The Tomb Raider earlier in the year than the rumored November 2016 date that has been out there since Crystal Dynamics stated that it would be hitting other platforms at a later date. I don't think it will be as soon as the PC version, if true, but Rise Of The Tomb Raider could be another summer blockbuster title for the PS4 if the exclusivity agreement runs out sooner than a lot of us were thinking. A year sounds about right but as we see now a year it might not have been. Either way though Rise Of The Tomb Raider is heading to more platforms before the end of 2016.
