LEGO Sonic The Hedgehog Is On The Way To Give Us More Of The Green Hill Zone

A new LEGO set is officially announced with a LEGO Sonic The Hedgehog bringing the blue blur to homes at the start of the year

The rumors and leaks seem to have been true as we have a LEGO Sonic The Hedgehog set on the way out to us at the start of the new year. That is not much in the way of a fun play on words either. We are talking that you will be able to purchase this one on January 1st of 2022 after all of the speculation and captured images of it being a thing out there. Even if this LEGO set was just built by a Sonic super fan and the company opted to actually build it into sets that others could easily buy instead of trying to duplicate on their own. What a wonderful world we all live in here, right?

As you will be able to see below, this LEGO set will house all that we need to rebuild part of the Green Hill Zone from the original Sonic The Hedgehog title. Along with the gems and rings that we needed to collect along the way and the iconic loop everyone loved to run through. Not to mention the fact that we will also have our LEGO versions of Sonic and Robotnic in the mix to make the small diorama complete and filled with everything we need to show off to all of our gaming friends. Now if only it linked into the toys to life version we have for the Mario sets out there now…

LEGO Sonic The Hedgehog — Green Hill Zone

Did you figure that LEGO would make sure this IP was covered here after all of the "leaks" or will it always be the super fans that get these things done? Were you hoping to have a bit of the gameplay elements in the mix or will you be glad to build it and leave it on the shelf? What other massive gaming IP would you want to see in the full block form like this? Tell everyone what you are thinking down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all if you so wish. I am sure we will see more LEGO sets as we did for Sonic The Hedgehog here, so be sure to keep checking in for all of that and the various gaming news still to come.
