Dying Light

A new update for Dying Light 2 is finally here and it looks as if Dying Light fans will have a reason to stop being mean to the devs

Everyone out there has been waiting patiently or not-so-patiently for any kind of update for Dying Light 2 after all of the great demos and footage we had for years before 2020. Now we are a year past when Techland originally wanted to drop the game on us all and we still have nothing for it. That is, at least we do not have a playable version of Dying Light 2 in our homes currently. What we do have now is a nice little update from the team on what is going on with the game and something that looks like we will have more of until it finally launches for us all. Try not to get overly excited yet…

While we do have an update, one that has some gameplay for Dying Light 2 mixed in, the bigger update we have is that the game is still coming and hopefully this year. There really is not all that much of an update beyond that in the following video. That said, it does look like the team has set up a Discord server for all of those Dying Light fans out there that want to ask the question directly to the team to see if there is a better update we can get. My guess is that it will be used to grab the questions the community truly wants to know so they can give us more updates like this one until we finally have a release date or a new look at how the game is flowing for now. Sadly, it is what it is for now.

Were you expecting to have a massive update for Dying Light 2 out of all of this or did you figure it was going to be an update about a coming update? Do you think we will see a longer gameplay trailer soon or will that still be a bit off for now? Will we get to see that the game is going to make it to the next-gen systems at launch or will it still be the last-gen ones that it was supposed to hit last year for now?
