Resident Evil
The remake of Resident Evil 2 has something to look at and it comes with an official release date for Resident Evil 2 as well
It has been so long since we first heard word that Resident Evil 2 was getting remade and we have seen so much for the franchise since then. If memory serves, it was back in 2015 that we first heard from Capcom that they were looking to remake one of their strongest games in the franchise and fans have been left wanting since. That is if you forget that they put out Resident Evil 7 and a whole bunch of DLC and other smaller titles in the process. Some just HD upgrades and such, but still something in the franchise as we wait for RE2 to be remade and brought to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Thankfully, the wait is almost over as not only do we have something new to watch for it, we also know it is hitting us on January 25th of 2019.
Yea, that does not seem like that far off now and that means we should be getting a whole lot of gameplay here for Resident Evil 2 to get us all hyped up and ready for the game. That is just what we had out of the Sony press conference as well although it looks like there was a lot more build up during the original event and the actual trailer announcing that Resident Evil 2 is actually coming at us. Well, not really an announcement it is coming but an announcement that we have a release date for it with a little bit of extra footage to go with it. Just be glad we have something that has some actual gameplay mixed right in and not just something showing off a bit of "flash" that will not be in the final game. Just, have a look and see what we have here.
Resident Evil 2 — Announcement Trailer
Welcome back to Raccoon City. Resident Evil 2 is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 25th!
If that was not enough, and we can be honest that it was not, we have a whole lot more gameplay to look at for Resident Evil 2 here. If fans can think back to the original and running around the RPD station, that is just what we have to look at. Capcom does not let us down as it looks like we are back to the over-the-shoulder camera for this Resident Evil, but they kept all of the great things they learned from RE7. The atmosphere feels deeper and darker and it looks a lot scarier than I remember back when it originally launched so long ago. It even feels like they truly kept the original layout of the building with a few changes just to keep us on our feet and make more sense. Even though it does look like the weird key puzzles are back just for the station again. Just like the Spencer Mansion…
