Get Ready To Join The Strange Brigade This August

Strange Brigade

The release date for Strange Brigade has been set and pre-orders are open for so you can secure your Collector’s Edition of Strange Brigade too

Get ready to set off on a grand adventure this August 28th as that is the day that Strange Brigade will be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. That will be the day that Rebellion will be taking us on a weird adventure in the 1930s era where we will have a set of adventurers going all Indiana Jones in ancient Egypt and dealing with the Witch Queen Seteki. I am guessing that one of the Strange Brigade did something to cause the issue and they are fixing it, but they could also just be out there to solve someone else's issue. All by yourself or with up to four of your friends. Most likely in an online co-op kind of way, but hopefully couch co-op as well.

With the announcement of the release date for Strange Brigade comes a few other things as well. Like we have a new story trailer for the game that kind of shows off what is going on in the game. It is all done in a pulp comics kind of way so it is a bit hard to fully understand what exactly has happened, but it is there. All of which to build up to the pre-order options and different editions of Strange Brigade that you can purchase as of right now. It would make sense that we are seeing a Collector’s and Digital Deluxe edition for the game at the time the release date was given out to us all.

The finer details for the editions are below, but each obviously comes with a copy of Strange Brigade and a Season Pass for future content that should include new campaign missions, characters, weapons, items, and "more." The Collector's Edition obviously has some fancier packaging and a bit more on the digital side of things. It also happens to come with a Build Your Own Airship model added in. It is made of cardboard but looks like a fun little extra to have for the slightly increased price for Strange Brigade. Have a look below though and make the better judgment on which version of the game you will be picking up.

Strange Brigade — Story Trailer

Have no fear — the intrepid and dashing Strange Brigade set off for rip-roaring escapades on August 28th! Rebellion’s new 1930s co-op adventure is now available for pre-order on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, including Collector’s and Digital Deluxe editions.

As today’s brand new story trailer reveals, our four heroes find themselves in exotic, unplumbed corners of Egypt, where ancient terror lingers. Risen from the dead, the Witch Queen Seteki commands an army of mummified monstrosities hell-bent on terror, and only one band of brave adventurers has the gusto to sock ancient evil back into its sarcophagus! Together, the Strange Brigade must take on treacherous traps, overcome puzzling predicaments, and blast their way through hordes of malevolent monsters in a thrilling campaign for 1-4 players.

What are your thoughts on Strange Brigade and its story so far? Do you think that we will get a couch co-op option in the game or will it all be an online deal? Do you think that the Airship is a great addition in for the Collector's Edition or should they have added in a statue of the main villain? Let us and the world know what you are thinking down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. For more on Strange Brigade, though, keep checking in here. As we get the updates, we will place them on the site.
