So as most of you are aware of, there is a film series called Saw. They are up to number V (that's 5 in Roman Numerals) now. With more in the works. But that isn't the big news here seeing as this is a gaming site. So why am I wasting your time writing this. Well filler right now.

But more importantly, and game related, the people who brought you the Saw films have released a Press Release stating that they will have a game out by the time the Sixth movie hits the big screen. All with the premise of bridging the first two films together a bit better. For non-fans of the film, the second film took place months after the first, where the rest all take place right after another in the timeline of the films. But now I'm just filling again.

Other fun facts about this game are thus. The people who created the series and story are working close with Brash, the company making the game, to make sure that it all follows the same stuff from the films. Also, it will be using the awesomeness of the Unreal 3 Engine for the game. So it will look really nice. Lets just hope that the transition and what they come up with for the game play is also just as awesome. Maybe they will go Blown Away style on this game. Look that game up to see what I mean.

As of now, it is slated to hit the PS3 and XBox by Halloween 2009. We'll see how this goes.
