Hidden Agenda
A new developer diary for Hidden Agenda has been placed out there to get us ready for Hidden Agenda's release coming tomorrow
If you were looking for a good crime drama filled with a bit of horror, and also a fun experience for you and all of your friends, then get ready for Hidden Agenda as it is coming to market tomorrow on the PS4 and using the PlayLink system that has been getting more attention as of late. If you are lost, this is yet another title from Supermassive Games that takes us down some dark rabbit holes where all of the choices made have a ripple effect and change things along the way. The difference between this and their other recent titles though is that Hidden Agenda will be controlled by multiple players as part of a "game night" and "movie night" experience. At least if you go through just the story mode. There is also a competitive mode that can be used which is where things get even more complicated.
We first saw Hidden Agenda back at E3 this year and there were some details on how all of this would work and how we would interact, but now we have a new developer diary that is breaking down both modes even better so you can get your crew all ready for launch tomorrow. At least if you want to have a smooth story mode for Hidden Agenda as it looks like most choices will be popular choice throughout the story with a few options for one player to control a pivotal option or other players "taking control" to drive the story in one direction or another. Also, see as combat and clues are driven by popular choice and player skill, it may be worth it to get everyone on the same page. At least if you want this interactive movie night to go smooth and have a great outcome. Or at least the outcome that will leave everyone satisfied.
Then you can hop into Hidden Agenda's competitive mode which will drive home the game's title as that is just what some players will have. As it looks, there will be a short sub-section of the game that everyone will play out with one being given a "Hidden Agenda" that they are supposed to get to play out through gameplay options and real-world tomfoolery. The other players are tasked with fooling the others and trying to figure out who the chosen player is during the story section. Correct choices obviously reward with points and incorrect choices get you nothing. Also, if you are able to get your agenda pushed through or are incorrectly selected as the "chosen player" you gain points. My guess is that the most points at the end "wins" the night, but there could be other outcomes as well.

If you would like to see where Hidden Agenda started back when Supermassive Games showed it off, you can check out the E3 trailer just below so you can see even more on how the story could play out. As to the number of options and selections in Hidden Agenda, that has still not been revealed. Almost like how many games in this vein that the developers can work on at one time. They still have another in the works, The Inpatient, for the PS VR and I am guessing an official Until Dawn 2 of sorts. So many great branching stories and ways for us all to play them.
Hidden Agenda — E3 2017 Reveal
What do you think about Hidden Agenda now that we have even more of a description on how it works? Can you see yourself hosting multiple "movie" or "game" nights with this as one of the centerpieces or will their only be so many times it can be played before it becomes repetitive? Do you think that it could get updates in the future to change things up along the way or will it be a one-and-done kind of thing? Let us know what you are thinking and then discuss. Hidden Agenda is releasing tomorrow, but if there is more to update you with, we will have it here. Be sure to keep checking back in to make sure you see and hear it all.
