Shadow Of War
The Orcs of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War now have tribes & here is Shadow Of War's Terror Tribe to bring the pain and blades for us
As if things weren't already going to be a bit on the crazy side for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War's Orcs, it looks like we can add in specialized tribes into the mix that will drive their thoughts and actions while we are making new enemies and allies throughout the land. Hopefully allies as the first up we have here is the Terror Tribe that Monolith Productions has for us and then look to be just as chaotic and horrible as the name alludes to. I going to go on a limb that this won't be the absolute worst of them in Shadow Of War, but at least we now know that we are in for some pain when October 10th rolls around. Unless they started with the worst for first instead of the last. We'll see I guess.
Anyways, here we go with the Terror Tribe in Shadow Of War and as their name reveals, they are a faction of Orcs who are out to spread fear throughout Mordor to further their agenda and demoralize their enemies. Here they do it through blades, blood, and pain as the following trailer will show you. All of which stems back to the Overlord of the tribe who is directing the rest in this way to make the whole game world feel a bit more dynamic and fleshed out. We can't have a world full of generic Orcs here in Shadow Of War as that doesn't play well into the whole Nemesis System ideas and just how the game should be in the end. That and it would make it all that extra level of generic that would push us off to other things.
Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War — Terror Tribe
Terror tribe, a faction of Orcs who specialize in spreading fear throughout Mordor. In Shadow Of War, Orcs now belong to tribes, which extend their influence stemming from the Overlords ruling the mighty fortresses throughout the open world, providing a rich ecosystem of missions, exploration and a dynamic Orc society with diverse Orc cultures, all brought to life through the expanded Nemesis System. As master tormentors, the Terror tribe rely on their infamous reputations to inspire fear among their enemies.
What do you think about Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War's new tribes and the Terror Tribe as it all stands right now? Do you think all of this will add to the overall immersion of the game or will it be just a way to use the same generic Orc a few times just with different armor on? Do you think that it will keep all of them feeling fully dynamic when all is said and done? Let us all know what you are thinking down in the comments and then discuss.
