Chart A Course For Doomsea With Minecraft: Story Mode's Next Episode

The trailer for Minecraft: Story Mode's second season's first episode is here to show how more Minecraft is getting crammed into the game

In just a few days we are going to be able to hop back into the saddle for Minecraft: Story Mode as the first episode of the second season kicks off. That seemed to creep right up on all of us out there and now Telltale Games is about to drop the next chapter in the story on July 11th for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices. At least all digitally as you'll still need to wait to pick up Minecraft: Story Mode's second season physically until September or so. If that is how you like to go with games that are primarily sold digitally in these episodic forms and such. To each their own though I guess.

All of this of course means that we now have our first trailer for Minecraft: Story Mode's new season to look at and get excited for. Along with a few new reveals for the game. Like the fact that we now have a pet llama to replace what was lost before. There are also two new adventuring party members to add into the mix that will most likely just be replacing the other members we built relationships with in the first season of Minecraft: Story Mode. That or the whole team is going to just expand to some pretty epic proportions as that would be technically three more characters that we will have to worry about hurting or helping along the way.

Minecraft: Story Mode — Season Two - Official Trailer

A new adventure beckons, sending Jesse on a quest to the darkest depths of the world - and beyond! Joined by a motley band of familiar faces, fortune hunters, sometime enemies and one deeply disobedient llama, there will be tough choices, peril aplenty and no shortage of People Who Will Remember That.

Obviously this season of Minecraft: Story Mode is also going to be bringing back the voices of all of those YouTube streamers that have the kids enthralled to watch them. I don't get that at all, but hey it is a thing here again. What I find really cool in this season is that Telltale Games has gone to Mojang yet again, they kind of had to, but this time they went to pull some of the best glitches and bugs that players have used before so they can add it all into this season of Minecraft: Story Mode. Why? Well there is a new 'villain' out there who has the ability to break some of the rules and they needed some great Easter Eggs for the fans. That is the coolest part of it all to me at least.

Are you completely ready for this new season of Minecraft: Story Mode here or did you have enough from the first season? Are you one of those players that are excited for more of the YouTube voices to be here or is that more of a novelty at this point?
