Agony Will Take Us To The Floating Forest In The Latest Gameplay

Agony

A lot more gameplay for Agony has just dropped and this bit shows off a new location in Agony as well as a lot more on the twisted visuals we will get to see

Before all of the insanity that is E3 kicked off there was a little stir as Agony was hit with a delay due to it becoming a larger title for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime soon. There is no blaming Madmind Studio from taking the cash they just received and building onto the game to give us a truly horrific experience and game to play through. This would kind of also explain why Agony didn't seem to have any kind of presence out at the big convention this year in any physical means. That is to say that there wasn't something new that had been released and ready for our consumption though…

Yes, we have a whole lot of new gameplay for Agony to look at again and this new bit also shows off a rather large area in the game that we will get to explore. A floating forest if you will and all of the lush visuals and horrible things it can do and hold for us in the game. Yes, my mind went straight to Evil Dead and I am sure that yours did to now. There is a lot more to it all than just some evil vegetation and other terrible daemons lurking within the area of Agony here too. It is not for the faint of heart at all though so take that into account before you click in and choose to take a look at what the game houses now.

Agony — Floating Forest Gameplay

Agony is a first-person survival horror game currently in development. Players will begin their journey as tormented soul within the depths of hell without any memories about his past.

The special ability to control people on their path, and even possess simple minded demons, gives the player the necessary measures to survive in the extreme conditions they are in.

By exploring hostile environment and interacting with the other weary souls of the hellscape, the hero will soon understand that there is only one way to escape from Hell, and it will require a meeting of the mystical Red Goddess.

Madmind Studio is definitely on point for what they were aiming for with Agony just from these gameplay videos and demos that they have released over time. Even if none of the game's mechanics have been deeply gone into here, it looks and feels just as they described and raised the capital for. I am a bit curious if the glowing blue streams that the player can release are anything more than a path indicator in Agony. It sure looks that way here from the new gameplay at least. I am also curious who is driving the character in the game as the voice the cut in so often didn't seem like the Red Goddess we were supposed to be finding, but maybe another demon. Maybe one that is currently being possessed and talking to us at the moment.

What do you think of Agony as it stands for now? Do you agree that the new area and other areas are doing just what the developers set out to bring us or are they too over the top for you to the point that you can't even watch it? Do you think that the blue light is a path indicator or could it be something else and the player was just going to it while stumbling on the path? Let us know down in the comments and then discuss. I am looking forward to much more for Agony in the coming months and as it is all revealed, we will have it all here. Keep checking into the site to be sure to see and experience it all.
