Johnny Gat Is Back From Hell Just For Agents Of Mayhem

Agents Of Mayhem

Pre-order bonuses for Agents Of Mayhem have been announced and they bring a Saints Row fan-favorite to Agents Of Mayhem as well as another

Given that Agents Of Mayhem is kind of an off-shoot of Saints Row, in spirits and more, it would make sense that we would get some great crossovers between it and the other Volition titles here and now we have it. Johnny Gat will be making his way into the game here and giving us all a 13th agent to play and see what the canon ending of Gat Out Of Hell truly was. At least if you aim to pre-order Agents Of Mayhem from GameStop for the PS4, Xbox One, or PC before August 15th. That of course being the release date so it makes sense that you need to pre-order before that as the term wouldn't work anymore if you didn't.

For those who may or may not have played Gat Out Of Hell, you won't need to understand Agents Of Mayhem at all outside of references, but in that game there was the option to "retcon" all the events of the Saints Row mayhem and fix the world. This has happened and now Johnny is back in Seoul where he was born. At least for those who pre-order at GameStop and maybe later down the road as this kind of DLC usually opens up at a much later date. Have a look at him in action here for Agents Of Mayhem and see if this is where and why you'll be giving Deep Silver your cash a little early.

Agents Of Mayhem — Gat Is Back

The “Have God re-create the Earth and retcon the entire world of Saints Row” ending of Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell means that the dead don’t stay dead. Johnny is back where he was born – Seoul. Gat’s been hard on the beat in this universe as a Lieutenant in Seoul’s police department, but the tragic events of Devil’s Night left Johnny in a coma. After awakening almost a year later, Johnny discovers that all of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency have been wiped out and replaced with C.O.P (Civilian Overwatch Patrol) robot units. Johnny hates robots, loves guns, and his reputation for wanton destruction makes him the perfect fit for MAYHEM.

Exclusively available to those pre-ordering Agents Of Mayhem at GameStop, Johnny Gat will be the 13th Agent Of Mayhem. Featuring an exclusive unlock mission, personal mission, vehicle/character/weapon skins, as well as the unmistakeable voice of Daniel Dae Kim, that’s a whole lot of Johnny.

If Johnny isn't your jam, or you really don't want to pick up Agents Of Mayhem at GameStop, don't worry that you'll be left out of the pre-order bonuses. If you choose to pick the game up digitally on the PS4 or Xbox One through the respective stores, you'll have a different agent to add in instead of Johnny. That being Lazarus for Agents Of Mayhem who happens to be half woman and half machine. She has no cool gameplay to look at or other ties into Volition's other titles, but you can have a good look and synopsis of her just below. I have a feeling we'll get more for her out of E3 next week, but for now this is where we are with all of the pre-orders and such.

Agents Of Mayhem — Lazarus

Lazarus is part woman and part machine. She’s a member of the Agents Of Mayhem, and she’s constantly challenged by others. However, she still has a great love and respect for humankind. MAYHEM enables Lazarus to watch over humans who constantly fascinate her.

Are you excited to see that Johnny Gat will be in Agents Of Mayhem if you opt to pre-order at GameStop? Are you more excited for Lazarus and will be pre-ordering in the digital store path? Do you think that both of these will eventually be available at a later date and don't care where you pre-order at currently? Let us know down in the comments what you are thinking and feeling and then feel free to discuss. For more on Agents Of Mayhem and all of the other characters we'll get, be sure to stay right here. We'll have more out of E3 and you won't want to miss out on a single thing for it.
