Far Cry 5
The official trailer for Far Cry 5 has landed and we have a whole lot going on in Far Cry 5 than previously thought to be going on
The time has come and here we are with the full showing of Far Cry 5 as we were all promised. The official full trailer for the game has dropped to give us a feel for Hope County, Montana and it looks like Ubisoft went the extra mile to not only give us that but also a few more trailers to give us a feel for the other characters in the game's world. Oh, and also the fact that Far Cry 5 will be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 27th on top of all of that. It is such a big day for this title that it feels like it would be an E3 announcement, but apparently there will be a lot more of all of that during the show. For now though, let's get back at what we have for now.
As all of the key art and teasers for Far Cry 5 have suggested, it looks like we are going the religious cult route here in the game and we are going to head on in to try and stop all of that from happening. Not by ourselves of course, more on that down below, but with a crew of sorts all to take down the Eden's Gate cult that has set up shop in Hope County. The dev team looks to have gone to great lengths to show us all how horrible a cult can be in general but also added on all of the extra insanity of Far Cry 5 to go even further than we would expect. Before you get into the full trailer though, has a listen to what the team went through and experienced when they went on-site to tray and give us a more authentic feeling game at the end of the day.
Far Cry 5 — Surviving In Hope County, Montana
Far Cry 5's Executive Producer and Creative Director Dan Hay tells us about the enemies and allies awaiting you in cult-controlled Hope County, Montana.
Now you should be all prepped for the official gameplay trailer for Far Cry 5. While Hope County isn't a real place in the States, the gameplay we have here to look at so far does give the full impression of what the team at Ubisoft was aiming for. In some instances it is quite easy to see how this is a fictional place but in others it does look exactly like the horrors that a cultist or hate group like we see here in Far Cry 5 can truly bring. Have a look and see for yourself. I truly looks like this is going to shape up really well at the end of the day; at least if this isn't just overblown hype that has fooled us all in the past with. You know they games I'm talking about from the publisher…

I spoke before about a group of characters in Far Cry 5 that will be aiding us in our heroic quest to rid this new cult. You also had a few short looks at them in the above trailers, but as I also mentioned, we also have some full looks at them and what is motivating them to not just be mission access points but to be truly part of the overall story. Each have been screwed over or almost killed by Eden's Gate and are eager to help us out in Far Cry 5. Here's a little bit of backstory and feel for the characters to just to get you further in the mood. All badass enough to fit right into the whole mess we are about to get ourselves into at some point. Good times indeed…

Now that we have a full look at Far Cry 5, what are your thoughts on it now? Do you think that the team is going to be able to capture the full essence of the world they are building and describing? Do you think that we will see more of the cult soon and do you think there will be more to the core resistance than we have here today? Let us know down in the comments and then discuss. For more on Far Cry 5, be sure to stay locked into the site here as we will definitely have more to come and you won't want to miss out on a single little bit of it all. Hopefully way more after E3 but only time will tell on that aspect of it all.
