Final Fantasy XV

The first episode of DLC for Final Fantasy XV has been given a date and it looks like Final Fantasy XV is also getting more exclusive and free DLC as well

The Final Fantasy 30^th anniversary celebration has kicked off and with that it looks like we have some new updates for Final Fantasy XV in terms of all of the DLC that is supposed to be coming here. Not only will we be seeing some new minor bits here soon, but it looks like Square Enix was ready to give us the date for when to expect the first "episode" DLC for Gladio in the game. There was a lot of speculation as to what this would bring to Final Fantasy XV and it looks like it is still there to speculate on. At least until March 28^th when it is slated to the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. At least for those who have the Season Pass and such.

Yes, it looks like we will be playing Final Fantasy XV from the perspective of Gladio here soon and also Prompto sometime in June. No details were given on that episode just yet but it is coming. In terms of the Gladio portion, while it is only hinted at, it looks like we will be driving the character through some of the events in Final Fantasy XV where he leaves the crew. This DLC will also bring with it a new control scheme just for the character and it looks like Gilgamesh will be involved in some way or another. That is about all that we have here for the episode but seeing as it's only a few months now I am sure it will be expanded upon in future updates. At least I hope.

If you don't want to wait long for more DLC, and the current in-game event isn't enough to hold you over, then also be on the lookout for a new pack to be on its way on February 21^st. The Booster Pack is coming to Final Fantasy XV and has both a paid and free version for fans of the game. Obviously one comes with the Season Pass and the other is for all. Just like the last pack like this, it looks like new outfits for the guys will be in there as well as some new gear to equip. Not many details were given on this just yet but it sounds like there are item here that will make you invulnerable for 30 minutes every 24 hours. Not sure if that is in-game or real-world but none the less a nice little feature for those truly tough boss fights in Final Fantasy XV.

An original episode that unfolds from the perspective of Gladio, who was not playable in the main story of Final Fantasy XV. Enjoy fresh controls with Gladio-like action different from Noctis. Additionally, Final Fantasy series familiar character Gilgamesh will also appear.”

Booster Pack+ and Booster Pack (Free Version) – Feb. 21

The Booster Pack+ and Booster Pack (free) will provide powerful items for Final Fantasy XV players. One of the items is reportedly a suit that boosts your fishing skills and gives you invincibility for 30 minutes. You can equip this item once every 24 hours.

How different do you think that Gladio will play in Final Fantasy XV or will it just be a few different commands and that is it?
